From the article:
Hinrichs and the roommate, Fazal M. Cheema, a finance major, lived together only a few months at Parkview Apartments. Cheema and three other Muslim students were led, handcuffed, from a party by police after the blast, said Ashraf Hussein, president of the Muslim Student Association. They later were released.
His father and friends said Hinrichs was not a football fan and would not have attended the game ordinarily. Boren said the FBI was reviewing tapes from inside and around the stadium.
Up to this point in time, no one has seen him trying to get into the game, Boren said.
One OU senior, Adam Smith, of Oklahoma City, however, said a stadium guard Saturday night told him a guy had sprinted off outside Gate 6 after refusing to let his backpack be searched.

To Frank the caller:
As Chris Matthews asked the other night, name me one person in the Bush administration that has been convicted of anything? Go ahead Frank, name me one.

When the Democrats go after the Evangelicals it will be the death of their party. Here's hoping!

We heard there was a suspicious package at the White House and the lawn was being cleared for security. We'll let you know more once we get more info.

I am very sad that you feel that way.

I have an ongoing apprehension that, once a homicide bomber succeeds in the USA, we will see many follow-ups in various cities.
This perp in OKC apparently was planning something bigger. His apartment, per some reports, has a massive about of materials likely for bomb-making and materials of the jihadist variety.
The perp was a terrorist who blew up on his way to a bigger mission.

Hate is a strong word. He has been critical as he has been down this path with Souter.
However he has also stated that he would be glad to be proven wrong.

Hi Tony, great to hear George Allen today.
To: TomGuy
From the moment I heard about it, I call it TERRORISM. I think it's pretty irresponsible to call it "a depressed young man with personal issues" as OU president Boren did.

I always have a problem with being lied to. We all know that this President made the SCOTUS a very big issue in both elections. We were promised a conservative lion when Bush got the chance. So far we have two stealth candidates. Call me underwhelmed.

I think you make a good point. A speedy confirmation is important this time.
I also think it is important to view both Supreme nomination in the context of the GWOT. Someone in an earlier post on the FR made the point that she has been in the trenches with the President dealing with the war. There are going to be more challenges coming up to the Court in the future on the GWOT issues. I think part of the "I know her" means that she will bring to the Court the perspective of the front line battle and that she will be with him and future Presidents fighting the GWOT. Keep in mind that the last case that Roberts did was a GWOT case with a favorable outcome from the administration.

There was a SUICIDE BOMBER that exploded on American soil on Saturday night. You'd THINK that would be huge news!
Politicos don't want it on the front page -- unless they can blame it on Rush or such. Shades of Murrah. We can be thankful the perp didn't accomplish his mission -- which was probably to destroy many more innocent Americans. If he just wanted to commit suicide, he would have used a less intensive method, in all probability -- a bullet, a knife, jumping onto a freeway, jumping off a tall building. No, a bomb is, by its very nature, designed to destroy a wide area, and that had to be the perp's intent.

How can you fight a war against the Democrats on the Court if your Republican Senator aren't there to back you up?
I can name at least six Senators (McCain, Chafee, Snow, Collins, DeWine, Voinovich) that came out publically and said they would not support "extreme" candidates such as Owen and Brown.
The President would be a fool to go into battle without an army. He was left with the choice of losing the battle or winning it with a stealth candidate.
