NORMAN, Okla., Oct 1 (AP) - One person was killed in an explosion near a packed football stadium at the University of Oklahoma on Saturday night in what the authorities said appeared to be a suicide.
The explosion, which occurred shortly before 8 p.m. in a traffic circle about 100 yards from Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, was heard by some people in the crowd of 84,000.
You want to know how you stop them doing that .. you call every station and you tell them .. I KNOW .. WHY THE HECK DON'T YOU KNOW .. AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHY THE HECK AM I WATCHING YOUR STATION.
I did it for several radio stations I listen to and it worked. But .. you have to call everytime there's a report and keep insisting they do a report and inform the public. Oh yeah, and remind them that these very actions are why the public doesn't trust them anymore.

The student section is right behind the visiting teams bench. It is about two sections over from where I sit. I come in Gate 7 which is the NE corner of the stadium and one of the emergency exits. I would have to check but I believe Gate 6 is in the north end zone. They changed gate numbers on us last year so I am not 100% sure but I do know Gate 6 is not where the students enter.
Maybe someone can tell me if Gate 1 is over in the SW corner of the stadium.
If their kickoff was at 6 p.m. like ours was, then it would've maybe been before 7:45 p.m. Our halftime started around 7:35 p.m., and the explosion in OKC happened shortly BEFORE halftime of the OU game.
They have a lot of terror planned. Time to take some landmarks out.
