Local and federal law officers worked Sunday to remove what was described as a cache of explosive material from the apartment of a man who died in a bombing the night before....Police were overheard telling residents it would take “several trips and could take up to 24 hours” to remove it all....A canister trailer used for detonating or transporting potentially explosive material was being used to haul items away.

Dreyling, 24, was arrested in August at the Will Rogers World Airport after security personnel noticed a suspicious object in his carryon bag as he was leaving for a family vacation with his parents. He later told FBI agents the device -- a modified carbon dioxide cartridge filled with gunpowder -- was "basically a pipe bomb," according to court papers that he had forgotten was in his bag. (Former Oklahoma City, OK Mayor Kirk Humphreys-- who was also DREYLING'S landlord-- spoke on behalf of DREYLING at his bail hearing).

• On a bus trip to the University of Oklahoma, Zacharias MOUSSAOUI was on the same bus as Nicholas BERG, the American man who was beheaded in Iraq in 2004 by Islamic terrorists. At some point on that trip, MOUSSAOUI asked BERG if he could use BERG'S laptop computer. Government sources said BERG gave the MOUSSAOUI his computer password...

Yeah, the lone suicidal nut scenario never fit the data on this case from the beginning. I'm surpised Boren made those statements attempting to support that theory. The location, timing, and the tremendous power of this bomb never fit the scenario of an amateur student bomber who had no help from people with much more knowledge of how to make bombs.

interesting.... such things must occur occasionally with despondent individuals with access to explosives..... but even that is not a case of someone taking the trouble to build a bomb and carrying it around with them.... the OK case seems much stranger unless it turns out to be a jihadist (which is strange and deranged in another way).

Right now, I don't think there is anything they aren't telling us....this particular Avian Flu still hasn't shown signs of being transferred from human to human...

it is still a disease from bird to human....and there is no vaccine yet...

However, if you remember last winter when there was a flu scare, and SARS was all over the news...President Bush was accused of not caring, and therefore, not stocking up with enough vaccine...

Hitlery was the worst accuser, even though legistlation that SHE pushed in the Senate is partly responsible for the lack of vaccines available...

I think he is trying to avoid that kind of condemnation...that he doesn't pay attention or care....by getting out in front of this...

Also, based on the letters he wrote that were later published, McVeigh was very sympathetic to the Iraqis at the time. Not very compatible with the "white supremicist" story the MSM was trying to sell at the time.
