The seismograph is in the basement of Sarkeys, and it runs 24/7. They have a recording unless the machine broke before then...

Actually if you know of links to the articles would be better, you or anyone. I saw this Saturday, and then woke up this morning to see this thread. Must be some more stuff I missed along the way. For now the dentist calls.

"Was he going to set off the bomb by remote control? Maybe his handlers saw his return to the bench and lit him off because they thought he had cold feet."

I've been suspecting that. There was a report of two ME looking men leaving the area. Maybe he was under surveillance and when they saw the trouble he had getting in, they figured he was in danger of getting caught; and talking. Then he became a liability. Not good.

Expect more of this, I suppose. It's a very strong clue that domestic sleeper cells are recruiting disaffected, causcasian youth as low-profile operatives.

Meanwhile, we've got a Marine spying in the White House for three years...

Yikes, I hope you've found someone to do it. I just got back to the forum and wanted to ask the same thing. I acquired a puter without sound (someone's work desktop, given to me by my inept computer store repair people who didn't fix mine properly).

The tape mp3's were all still there just a few minutes ago--8 or more of them.

I thought they released the roommate after questioning. I would think if he had terrorist connections they would hold him longer.

1. Perhaps they had no grounds to hold him.
2. Good chance they want to see if he tries to contact someone. Pretty common to release a rat and hope to follow him to the cheese.

The ticket to Algeria was apparently in preparation for the guy's spring break. No mention from the wonderful Channel 5 reporters on this important detail either.

Spring break??? School just started. Why would someone buy a ticket that far in advance? I didn't even know you could buy a ticket 5 months in advance. I smell BS!

You mean the same tactic the Arubian police used on Natalie Holloway's killers? That should work out well.

" I still cannot believe the number of students in this country that their student visas have expired. "

It's much worse than even this, PKM. One of my relatives works in another local university, and she says some of these guys come in with a stack of documents, and it's her job to just mass-approve them all. She claims some of the papers are used by more than one student, she thinks as many as 5 or 6. So not only are people in the country on expired visas, some probably don't any valid ones at all--just phonies.

Either it's a duck, or at least a "reliable" source says it's a duck that didn't go to Alabama National Guard duty, and that it is Bush's fault.
