lets remember which side owns the guns

Rest assured its not the 'Dems' or 'Repubs'...

It is the 'Citizens' that own the 'guns'..

Politicizing gun ownership is suicide.

Its the notion of individual freedom and personal responsibility that is the underpinning of fire arms ownership. Not some jackarse hack like Karl Rove or an ultimately indeterminate president

Neither Repubs or Dems are allies in personal firearms ownership...they wish they would soon see you disarmed and subservient...both of them..

Its the system that is broken and IT IS the threat...

THEY ARE GOING TO COME FOR YOUR WEAPONS...ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME

Conservative or Lib...it doesn't matter...THEY ARE COMING...

There are stupid people everywhere.

We have people in this country who honestly believe that you can slow down traffic on a road just by lowering the speed limit from 40 to 35.

They believed you could stop the production and consumption of alcohol just by passing a law.

They believed you could stop the importation and sale of drugs just by passing a law.

There are people today who believe that you can change a person's heart just by forcing them to bow down before the god of your choosing.

There are people who believe you can prevent randy teenagers from having sex simply by never talking about it except to say it's dirty, evil and wrong.

So why are we surprised that these sheep can be conned by propaganda into thinking that a new law will magically make all the bad guns go away?

"Now there's no more Oak oppression,
for they've passed a noble law
and the trees are all kept equal
with Hatchet, Axe and Saw."

From the article: "If Latin America's largest country votes in favor of the ban, all sales of guns and ammunition to civilians will be halted,..."

Wow. Imagine having to stockpile your entire lifetime's worth of ammunition. If that happened here I would have to buy some more. Maybe not much more. I would definitely need a more secure place to store it.

I bet they would close the firing ranges too. I would have to find somewhere else to fire. Let me see ...

Over 120 million people are expected to vote on the bill in Brazil, where voting is compulsory.

They want to make sure that toothless street sweepers who never heard of Hitler get an equal say in determining the future of the nation.

I was looking for another article on Brazil's "land reform" which I had not saved. I googled key words, and that one popped out.

I sure wish I had a concrete slab to store mine on.

I'm Brazilian and I will vote NO to the prohibition. Lula wants create a communist government in Brazil, he is the best friend of the Chavez and Fidel Castro. Disarmament is the first way to create a tirany.
