How about this: increase the price of beer, but only for teens.

Great graphic.

LOL and the State keeps marching on.

For the children, of course, raise prices on beer, ban beer in bars, breathalysers in autos!

The statists will love this.

Love your kids, vote for higher beer taxes.

Man, what a racket, that pinging on the guilt thing always works.

There is no problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by passing a new law or assessing a new tax.

Honest.

The tax is high enough. How about increasing responsible parents.

I don't suppose it will occur to the people to enforce current drinking age laws....

Yup. That explains why so many people have AIDS in Africa. Too much partying.

The cartoon is great : )

The article is a load, however. It is illegal for a minor to purchase or consume alcoholic. This is just another tax the middle class scheme, and saying it's for the chillun...

Except that many in this study are underage.

Hey, raise the drinking age to 25.

Methinks this is a move by the liquor distillers to boost their sales.

Beer causes STD's; Drink bourbon instead.

I don't drink beer, ergo, I agree with a tax on beer.

That's how it works, right?

"...the authors used state excise taxes on beer to represent the price of alcohol."

That was one of many mistakes in proposing this as a "solution".

And that was "for the children" too...

Actually, I should have said:

Cum hoc, ergo propter hoc.

"With this, therefore because of this."
