I didn't find the web site (the committee actually) to be Conservative in philosophy by any stretch. It seemed more policy-wonkish with respect to the judicial appointment process. Lately, it's main goal seems to be doing battle with the Dem's attempts to shut down the nomination process. The principle seems to go at it with the People for the American Way.
I'd like to second skr's question though.

So, do you pro-life Miers supporters who trust that brick-wall President Bush to stack the court with someone who'll overturn Roe v. Wade see any disconnect with an individual who is obviously pro-abortion working to get Miers nominated?

You'll note that that individual is giving money to 527's which are in turn exculsively supporting "pro-choice republicans" etc.
Tell that to the religious right. If the Dems didnt offend them on social issues and national defense, many of them would vote Democrat to get their free health care and social welfare net.
It would appear that she was hired for her campaign / fundraising skills. I would spend more time investigating the priciples of the group in question and a little less time investigating their WebMaster LOL.
Fine. The GOP doesn't have a "lock" on conservatives' votes any more. As they're going to find out in about a year's time.

If you read any of my posts prior to our discussion, you will find that I am NOT one to to simply trust and that I actively encourage debate. I'm not participating in the Miers debate myself, but have inserted myself where I see dishonesty.
I couldn't tell if your selective analysis of Campaign Solutions / Donatelli was intentional obfuscation or not, which is why I asked the original questions.
Anybody can look up whois or political contribution databases. However, I think you have really taken some huge leaps to arrive at your conclusions.
I haven't looked closely at Donatelli, but I did see that a SVP worked on JC Watt's campaign. That was enough for me to conclude that you have engaged in excessive hyperbole.
And yes, I realize that whats-her-name is not the webmaster. Turn up your humor radar a notch. She is the Administrative Contact. That does not mean she "paid for" the domain as you stated. One of her underlings likely registered the domain when they were hired by the Committee for Justice. I'm sure the CFJ will be billed for it, but recognizing this and presenting it in this more fair fashion doesn't suit your scare campaign, does it?
You need to look at the CMJ, not a single priciple at Campaign Solutions.
I'm now questioning whether you are foolishly reading too much into your armchair detective work, or if you are merely employing dishonest tactics to further your own agenda.
Having said all that, rest assured that I am not overly pleased with the nomination. I think Bush could have done much better. I'm still asking myself "what was he thinking?" This is why I'm reading, but not presuming to know enough to opine on then nomination itself.
It looks as though Donatelli's organization bought the domain name committeeforjustice.net, .com and .org. Only .org is being used. The .net and .com domain's are not set up to direct one to the .org domain, which is not an efficient use of buying similar names if one is trying to direct people to a site. Looks more like a financial buy than a political one. The Committee for Justice certainly doesn't promote abortion, particularly since they have fought for conservative nominees to go through the process without filibusters. It's not clear to me how a pro-abortion person would be happy with CFJ's work.
Your link to the money trail indicates that the Hockaday-Donatelli Group, a campaign business that works for both pro-life and pro-abortion Republicans, is the recipient of, not the donor to the Wish List and Emily's List.
Aside from whom owns the domain name and it's .com and .net versions, what do you have to refute the actual article? The founder of CFJ is C. Borden Gray, a member of the Federalist Society. The People for the American Way certainly don't like him.
