Supporting China, or human beings?
All Kinds of Wristbands ^ | 10-24-2005 | John Rollins

This guy All Kinds of Wristbands seems to make a compelling argument for these wristbands. You can check out the site for yourself, but his message seems to be that humanity in general (cancer patients, troops, hurricane survivors) can all be helped by this. This includes poor Chinese people who need a job because of their crappy government.

Thoughts?

Unless you want to be subject to a whole heap of abuse you had better ask the mods to pull this thread.

Well, the website does seem fairly sincere, but posting and looking for a response, without replying doesn't!

Looking at his posts I think that he meant to post it on a thread rather then as a thread.

So I am being merciful today.

Just read his post on the other thread.

"I posted this somewhere else on accident. Sorry, I'm new!"

I think you are right!

"This includes poor Chinese people who need a job because of their crappy government. Thoughts?"

Yeah, let China fix their own government.

I'd like to see China fix their government, but that's not my concern. My concern is people suffering under that government, just as it is for people suffering under Sadam, or any other tyranical government. Maybe we don't have the ability to take care of that problem as a government, but what can we do to help the actual people; especially if we aren't letting them into the country.

I'd be happy to have this thread pulled if someone can show me how.

China is several billion people led by a few paranoid types with nukes.
One doesn't mess with paranoid people who are armed to the teeth.

You drop a tungsten rhenium rod on them from orbit and help the survivors build a new government.

Though we're a few years away from orbiting lawn dart weapons.
And bracelets won't help the people who are suffering too much.

I want one too!

There's an annoying guy in North Korea by the name of Kim I'd like to try and peg from orbit..
