I am using my first "offset border" and with it used the portion of it to make my platform for the thread.

Sounds interesting. Don't think I've ever done anything like that, still had so much to learn it seems.

Glad you're keeping yourself nourished. I'm bad to post a graphic and say nothing. Hard to respond to that. lol

LOL.
Well, I tend to wander aimlessly.
And typo with wild abandon.

Yes.
More so on other threads.
And, it gets worse at times.

My mom once in awhile will make pecan pie.

I have to make it for Thanksgiving every year; usually that's the only time I make it. It's so rich!

Great thread, and very interesting. I have had a few strange, unexplainable experiences in my life....which were really weird. After my Dad died, when I was a child, there were a few times when I felt a presence in a room, not scary, just a weird feeling. Twelve years later, my brother died when he was 20, a few years later, I was driving and there was a crew of landscapers driving by me....I noticed right away that one looked like my brother and was smiling and waving to me. I waved back and it was really weird, too strange to explain. Years later, my Mom passed away. A few months after my Mom passed away, I was driving to work. Passed a car that looked just like my Mom and Step-Dad's car. And, in the passenger seat was a woman who looked just like my Mom. Again, too strange to explain. It freaked me out, having had all these strange occurrences happen to me in my life. LOL, no....I am not nuts. Several years ago, I was working at a health care center, worked with a Psychiatrist (and other Doctors). We were having lunch together one day and I decided to mention all of this to him. He told me that what happened to me is very common when you lose someone very close to you. Felt good to know that what I experienced was common :-)

I am a Christian, believe I will see my loved ones again one day. And perhaps these were all signs from my loved ones.

Hi, Dolly - thank you for coming back, too! :) It's been unusually slow today - hope everyone gets well and the hurricanes will quit coming ashore, too. What a terrible year for catastrophes this has been. :(

My hand is again tightening up and bigger. Getting more difficult to key in.. need to soak it, eat some dinner & get some meds in me.. later

:( Do take care of that hand - are you soaking in Epsom Salt? Do you use ice packs, too?

Are you talking about a side border, like I used today? If so, you *have* used them, Aqua. :) I have fun making them, like those today - they were three little individual graphics that I put the same vignette around as the one I did for the opening, then lined them up on the left side of the solid pink bg and gave it a drop shadow. Is that sorta what you're talking about, Dolly?

Mom also made a cheesecake that is unbelievably good.
However, it is possible to eat too much of it and make yourself sick.

Hi DH. I've done the same thing, it's unsettling.

Have been meaning to tell you that my scanner is tore up so I can't upload any pictures right now. When we get a new scanner I'll upload my parents wedding pic. Thanks for caring.
