THE CALL TO DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME (folks, CIVIL WAR II has begun)
why the world can't wait dot net ^ | 11-2005 | really nutty dangerous subversives

The Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime

 Sign the call now!

Your government, on the basis of outrageous lies, is waging a murderous and utterly illegitimate war in Iraq, with other countries in their sights.

Your government is openly torturing people, and justifying it.

Your government puts people in jail on the merest suspicion, refusing them lawyers, and either holding them indefinitely or deporting them in the dead of night.

Your government is moving each day closer to a theocracy, where a narrow and hateful brand of Christian fundamentalism will rule.

Your government suppresses the science that doesn't fit its religious, political and economic agenda, forcing present and future generations to pay a terrible price.

Your government is moving to deny women here, and all over the world, the right to birth control and abortion.

Your government enforces a culture of greed, bigotry, intolerance and ignorance.

People look at all this and think of Hitler — and they are right to do so. The Bush regime is setting out to radically remake society very quickly, in a fascist way, and for generations to come. We must act now; the future is in the balance.

Important "of course!" after-thought:

The Word of God (the PEN) is also referred to as the mighty Sword of the Lord....

So the "even if you reelect Bush in 2004 we're going to impeach him" didn't work. Thus the meltdown??

Truly the battle is for the mind; the body follows. And I like the freedom to have BOTH Bibles and guns. We need one to protect the other, at time, it would seem.

If you'll look among the ping lists, there is one for Civil War II... while such a thing is that last misery I would like for this country, it is well to keep advised of trends.

A great problem we have is that the Left has become unhinged- or at least, the people who are cited as representative of them are.

It used to be you could argue the basic More/Less Government positions, and when it settled, still be civil or even friends with them, but since the Clinton infestation in politics, that is no longer possible.

It's all about seizing power via any means, including outright lying, slandering opponents to weaken them, and repeating meme's and talking points ( however baseless & fact-free ) until enough voters are swayed.

The Other Side is still replaying "we wuz robbed" about both the 2000 & 2004 elections- do you recall any such nonsense ( besides momentary ) from us in 1992 or 1996? No.

You cannot debate with fanatics, and this worries me.

Or, let me place it in another context-- I've been a citizen-activist since Goldwater, and sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose-- you go on, and try better the next time.

But people who cannot believe, or accept, a loss-- combined with the politics of personal destruction-- trouble me.

I suspect if they ever get into power again, they'll never leave.
( You know, like the Clintons...)
Yet, you also know, our side will eventually lose, and having any party permanently ascendant is a bad thing, too.

Doug, it is time to take the bull by the horns. I think it is necessary for the country to know who MSM has aligned itself with. Who they are and what they stand for.

I am going to start with my US Senators, and Congressional Rep. Although they do not endorse this, they will know where the battlelines are.

I am going local. State Legislature and Gov. Small town paper and AJC. The more they knw, the more who tell them, the better for us.

If we all did this, maybe we can break to hold MSM has on the facts.

Insanity? How about ignorance? Insane ignorance. get this:

I have come to realize the 2nd Amendment was put in there to allow citizens to protect themselves against the government. Naive, liberal, democratic me, never thought I'd have to fight my government. duh Those evil Repugs knew they could not trust government! Well, it sure is starting to make sense, but "i'm still anti guns."

I wonder what it meant to them when Kennedy excoriated Ashcroft for saying the purpose of the 2nd amendment is to protect us from a tyrannical government? I was taught that in school and the dummies get it by an epiphany. But still the poster is "still anti-gun." which is a good thing in his case, I guess. Ignorant insanity.

CW II started with the Inauguration of Bill Clinton.

The communists and socialists just moved into a new phase with the indictment of Tom Delay on trumped up charges.

Sometime between now and '08, the Democrats will attempt to neutralize the Internet. Neal Boortz says that the House is debating a bill to curb the political views of bloggers.

Just replace "your govt" with "God" and you have the script that preceded the war in Heaven between God and Satan.

"and halted any forward progress with personal attacks and yelling to disrupt the meetings."

"Shheesh. Sounds like FR lately.

Lately?! I signed up in 2000, lurked since 97, and it has ALWAYS been that way at FR. Even Sean Hannity once stated that the venomous bickering and holler-matches between long-standing freepers was disgusting to him.
