Hi deadhead!
That is a beautiful squirrel. I've never seen them here. We have just the Gray ones. Oops, I forgot. You know that. LOL!
I ran out of squirrel pics...
... so here's a gopher gif :)
Blessings to your Grandfather. Happy that he is doing well in his new home.
I'm alright
Nobody worry 'bout me
Why you got to gimme a fight?
Can't you just let it be?
I'm alright
Don't nobody worry 'bout me
You got to gimme a fight
Why don't you just let me be
Do what you like,
Doing it nat'rally
But if it's too easy
They're gonna disagree
It's your life
And isn't it a mystery
If it's nobody's bus'ness
It's everybody's game
Gotta catch you later
No, no, cannonball it right away
Some Cinderella kid
Get it up and get you a job
(Dip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip)
I'm alright
Nobody worry 'bout me
Why you got to gimme a fight?
Can't you just let it be?
I'm alright
Don't nobody worry 'bout me
You got to gimme a fight
Why don't you just let me be
Who do you want?
Who you be today?
And who is it really
Makin' up your mind?
You wanna listen to the man?
Pay attention to the magistrate
And while I got you in the mood
Listen to your
Own heart beatin'
Own heart beatin'
Own heart beatin'
Own heart beatin'
Don't it get you movin'
mmmmm-man
It make me feel good
(Wow, Cinderella kid)
Then give it up and give it the job
(dip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip)
(Boom, boom, boom, boom)
I'm alright
Nobody worry 'bout me
Why you got to gimme a fight?
Can't you just let it be?
I'm alright
Don't nobody worry 'bout me
You got to gimme a fight
Why don't you just let me be
I'm alright
Nobody worry 'bout me
Why you got to gimme a fight?
Can't you just let it be?
I'm alright
I'm alright
Just let me be
I just stumbled upon a darling site - - - Sugar Bush Squirrel-The Superstar Squirrel-Supermodel Squirrel
Here is a description of her and a few pictures of this real live squirrel...
"Sugar Bush Squirrel is a real, live Eastern Gray Squirrel who is owned and photographed by Ms. Kelly Foxton. Rescued, as a baby in her nest, from a tree which was being cut down, she is now living the 'good life' with Kelly in Boca Raton, Florida. A small, lime-green parrot, named Rio, is her big sister and constant companion.
Being an International Superstar and The World's Most Photographed Squirrel, Sugar Bush loves to dress up, and has over 1,000 outfits with matching hats and accessories. Sugar Bush Squirrel has her own, posh studio with an elaborate stage and thousands of stage props, and has posed for over 1,000 photos since her modeling career began. As News Anchor of SNN-The Squirrel News Network, she has turned the catch phrase, 'you've been squirreled' into an overnight success. It is fast becoming her very own, international, household expression."

*DO* go there to see MORE creative things, including visiting GWB in the Ocal Office...
Squirrel Wars - EpisodeIII...calendars, and much more..:))
Shhh, don't tell anyone you saw him. He's retired now, living a quiet life away from the paparazzi.
He's the Garbo of gophers :)
In MTV lingo, I believe it's spelled "squirrel'd" :)
Sugar Bush Squirrel is a cutie :-)
Need to go back and see more of his work!
Love this pic
what a darling set of pix Maggie.. you always make good contributions. I will let you know how the movie Jarhead is..
and for you & deadhead.. amazing how different but how similar we all are. If I had cable, I might watch more TV & not do movies - dont know. But I am NOT really a TV / commercial break person.
I do (dont get mad) 6-10 movies a month :& would go twice a day if I could. I love the big screen, comfy seats, great sound etc. I have state of art equipement here but just can't compare. I truly think that I would love being involved in production. I have two relatives who are now involved in movie production and one 2nd cousin a star from years past (debra winger). Not that I get any benefit but when we are together with the production folks it is fun to "talk shop" and they are always thrilled that I am up on movies, techniques, lingo, patterns, directors, producers.. and I know about their principals etc.
I have said before & will say again... I think movie prices are a bargain for what goes into it & ho wmany people are involved. But I also know, to each his own & some folks physically cant handle movies seats, walks etc. are offended by movies easily or just dont like "make believe".
I still love ya'all ... still love me?????
:-)
well, this predated the 1970 incident to be sure! and at new student orientation this was a fact they emphasized for us to make sure to note & observe & (be grateful?) for the presence of the squirrels.
One article here but do Google KENT STATE BLACK SQUIRRELS for a full listing of articles
this is by far my fav of jonny's works.. I want to use it in a special thread along the way.. will know when & how I am sure when the right time is there
Re: our friend Texasflower.. I am hoping you will do a special pix (if you haven't already) for her.. we can maybe do a special tribute for her.. that can be linked to the memorial page.
Absolutely, Dolly. Most people I know go to the movies and enjoy them. I just have never been a movie goer....We can all be very similar and share many of the same beliefs, but at the same time not be exactly the same. That would be boring if we were :-) I love hearing about what other folks do. It is fun, and I love when people have fun. We have one life to live, make the best of it and do what you enjoy.
LOL, here are the movies I have seen at a theater since 1980:
Silence of the Lambs
Independence Day
Star Wars
LOL, that is all I can think of,,,yep...can count them on one hand.
On Saturday, I will be going to see "The Producers"
Daily at work, on my lunch hour, I listen to the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell on my ipod as I walk around the pond for exercise. And I enjoy it :-) We are all different and have different interests, thanks be to God :-)
oh no.. I better not let Oliver & toby see this. they would be much too jealous. they would benefit (big time) from doggie undergrad school. What a wonderful pix!!!!!
