Anybody know who is rioting? I read this story and I have no idea who is rioting or why. It must have something to do with spontaneous combustion or something.

These are merely Ramadan festivities, no doubt.
You know how it is at Christmas...open your gifts, visit with family and friends, have a nice big turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and then head outside to burn vehicles, deface synagogues and beat up innocent people.

I don't think we need the word "coward" in the English language anymore. The word "Frenchman" is much more descriptive.

I can't believe they have let this go on for so long. Especially considering the circumstances that two dumb asses got themselves killed.
If the police would have done their job right there would be awhole lot more dead for them to bury at this point.

They're Muslims - no kidding!
Why do you think there is NO description of race or economic class?
Don't be embarrassed. I asked the same question the other day.

So not as many confortations with police last night yet more damage than ever before. The thugs/Caliphantists are too busy off burning things like mass transit vehicles, etc. and the police are probably not going into some areas anymore (don't want the Moletov's in the face treament).
Not sure that is good news.

Some 400 cars were set on fire in the outskirts of Paris last night, I would do the same if I had to drive a Peugeot

What do you get when you go hunting with rubber bullets?
- The police also said that for the first time since the riots broke out over a week ago, similar disturbances, although on a smaller scale, took place in other French towns, with several cars being set on fire in Dijon and in the Seine-Maritime and Bouche-du-Rhone regions.
Dijon??? Oh my heavens what about the mustard - somebody save the mustard.
How many rubber bullets does it take to stop a riot?
- None they don't work
Rubber isn't that what is worn to " do you what to" some one, you don't really want to touch?
I get it, the French Police are practicing safe (sex) Law enforcement, they are all using rubber(s) bullets to keep from knocking up the diaperheads - that makes perfect sense now.
WEE WEE I thinks there's zee romance is in the air aye.
Note to President Bush: Do not send troops to France, but when you do no rubber bullets.

As I read the article, I waited patiently for the words "Muslim" or "Islam" to pop up but the words never appeared. How biased. Now if it were Christians or Jews rioting...well, that would certainly make the headline, every paragraph and coverage in every lamestream media outlet.
To: Always Right
the police also said that there were fewer clashes between police and rioters than on Wednesday night. That means that the police are surrendering already.
