Thank you for the post and a special thankyou to Greg. May he we are behind him 100% and he as well as the rest of the troops will remain in our thoughts and prayers until they are all home safley.
That's "may he KNOW."
Add me to this ping list too, please. Hearing experiences like these makes my day.
Thanks for the ping!
Wow. Thanks very much for posting this. The letter with his experiences was absolutely gripping: I'm so glad he started by saying he's fine and has all his extremities, because I was on the edge of my seat with worry during parts of it! And his letter to the stupid Sacramento City Council was absolutely on point. I sent them letters as well, but his was far better than mine. Our prayers continue for him, his comrades, and his family.
I salute you!
Please add me to your PING list!
God Bless you, Greg!

LOL. God bless Greg and his First Strikers. Much of the letter had be holding my breath, but this really gave me a laugh. Keep them all safe, Lord.
BTTT!!!!!!
Only in RED States, and in NRA member families.
Good Show Sargent!! Good Show!
Fine young man.
Thank you for your service Greg.
"Letters from Greg in Iraq to his Mom"
Thank you, Swordmaker. Greg's account of his duties in Iraq should be in every newspaper in this country, but we all know the chances of that happening. Why bother readers with the truth when there is so much anti-military rhetoric to spread around?
Please add me to your Ping list for Greg's letters. He certainly has a gift for writing. We are all praying for him and for all our brave, dedicated troops in harm's way. And for their loved ones, too, of course.
Having been overseas myself, I can tell you that Greg's letters are an incredible accounting of what soldiers live with when deployed. Most of us can't begin to describe events as well and accurately as Greg does. There is a book out called "I Love My Rifle More Than You" that tells the female perspective of it all.
PING
Your letters are richly descriptive, Greg. It is hard for us to imagine what your day to day experience is like, because most of us have never been in situations remotely like the one you find yourself in. The times your life was saved I can only call miracles, and praise God for sparing you! I will say a prayer for you tonight and for all our troops on the frontlines of freedom. In a way, you are already blessed to have the honor of the job, defeating terror and free-ing a horribly oppressed people. And, we are honored to be Americans along with such fine troops as you are.
"First Strike!" ;-)
Just to let you all know, I have now posted most of my photos on my new site which is below. Thank you for not only your gracious comments, but your support.
