CARY, Ill. (AP) — A 10-year-old boy was in critical condition Sunday after three pit bulls escaped from a home and went on a rampage, attacking six people before police shot and killed dogs, authorities said.

I would have enjoyed ripping (grossly dislocating) their jaws apart in the attempt to extract their mouths from the child.
I have no problems severely hurting such dogs in the defense of a person.

Anyone who watches "The Dog Whisperer" knows that this is the fault of the dog owner, not the dog.
Violent dogs are the result of lazy owners.
