"we shouldn't allow it into our science classrooms. At least that's what the Constitution says" AFAIK there are no statements in the US Constitution speaking to scientific theory. Maybe the author means some other constitution.
It is not a theory. It is, at best, a hypothesis but not a hypothesis in science. It more properly belongs in philosophy or theology.
It is neither - it is just the simple, plain truth.
""we shouldn't allow it into our science classrooms. At least that's what the Constitution says""
Where is it logical that anything supporting a religious belief is a bad scientific theory or is unconstitutional, yet, anything that bashes religion, specifically Christianity, is fair game? Attempting to distance religion from the people is nothing but an attack on the people.
Here is the mark of what science ISN'T:
"The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science. If it's consensus, it isn't science. If it's science, it isn't consensus. Period. In addition, let me remind you that the track record of the consensus is nothing to be proud of. Let's review a few cases. ......"

In my short but thorough reading of science articles on evolution and theory of; it was stated in at least two, maybe three reference articles that even the scientists who study same; quite often believe in God.
Wow if this guy is so smart, he could at least read a map. The town of Dover is at least 200 miles east of Pittsburgh.
My car invented ID, and the number 8.
My book told me so.
ID is an excellent scientific theory. It is, in fact, the only true theory that will soon replace the pseudo theory of evolution.
Evolution is all speculation with zero speciation.
