Sorry to say, I used to watch Imus until I got fed up with him. When I first started watching Fox & Friends, I had your reaction. Then I realized how informative they are. It's almost like they follow the pages of FR. If you don't have time for FR in the morning, have Fox & Friends on while you're getting ready for work.
I get most of my news on the internet through all my favorite "biased" sites. I don't believe the MSM at all.
I usually watch CNBC in the morning for the financial news and reports.
But I've decided to appease all the F&F fans by giving them a look.
Give it a chance. I think E.D knows more than the guys, and Brian does act goofy sometimes, but I think they're all basically conservative. They don't trash Bush, and they like the troops. They never infuriate me the way Imus does, and the fact that he stays on tv, is a mystery to me.
Hmmm...like I said, PLEASE run for Senate! Sounds like someone we need there. :)
My thoughts exactly, when I read this....well duh!
I am not particulary fond of Fox and Friends and I can't stomach CNN; so I pretty much stay with FR.
I like when people dress like freaks.
It makes them easier to spot.
True, and I confess I have a weakness for women in trashy, punk, goth clothes and trashy makeup and eye shadow.
Thanks for the ping!
I've been to the coastal plain. I'm not sure what you are trying to tell me.
ED Hill is another story- kinda ditzy and likes to brag about her privileged upbringing. But I can tolerate that.
I thought you were saying that there were all sorts of rafting rivers and tourist spots there? If not, my mistake...I was reading the US Dept of Interior report for tract 1002 and it's all flat with mostly shrubbery...
G
I don't agree with that. Katie and Matt's hatred is supremely evident on a daily basis. However, FOX in general is far from a conservative news network in my opinion.
Not all sorts, but there is the occassional group on those very expensive tours. It is very flat and there are no tree at all. But the rafting is done out of the edge of the Brooks Mountain range.
As you can see from the map above, quite a few rivers come out of the Brooks Range to go across the Coastal Plain. Most of the descriptions I've read refer to the portion on the plain as a float. The first part of the trip is the whitewater.
As an example the Kongakut River starts like this South of area 1002:
But ends looking like this:
Soo true.
This morning I was flipping up from ESPN to Fox and passed CNN, so I stopped on it for a minute. Miles-what's-his-face was engaged in some sort of idiocy leaning back and forth talking about how his producer told him he looked crooked so he wanted to figure out what was straight. The other two reporters on the show were having a jolly old time telling him to move back and forth.
Looked like a bunch of monkeys hopping around in front of a camera, to be perfectly honest. How do people subject themselves to that nonsense?
F&F are great. Who else would ask Kissinger after his segment if he'd like to do the weather? Guests love visiting with them therefore, you get the best.
As far as serious news, they are all well informed and I believe as conservative as us and I love that they talk about stuff they get at Home Depot, home projects they do, and that they coach their kids' teams. I believe E.D., who is as bright as the others, is assigned a devil's advocate role at times, not stating an opinion but asking questions for "the other side" in order to keep, fair and balanced.
I think Neal has just been trying to root for the home team.
I watch it for Lauren Green. My gosh she's hot. amazing legs.
