A Demoralized FreeRepublic. What is the Solution? (Vanity)

The tone on FR is very demoralized. Liberals and their media unfortunately have succeeded in demoralizing a large number of freepers. From their constant savage attacks on the President and the Republican Party with lies and distortions, to their biased polls, to blaming the President for everything under the sun, many freepers are feeling very demoralized. They are further demoralized because President Bush is not fighting back, because the RINOS in Congress are screwing thing up for the President agenda. Add to that a huge numbers of trolls who infiltrated FR in 2004 and 2005 to divide and demoralize by creating doom and gloom, and piling on the President and the GOP.

So what are the solutions for the demoralization problem?

(1) Stop the knee jerk reaction every time the liberal media write an article telling us that President Bush and the GOP are finished. Stop taking every biased poll as the end of all. No doubt that the President approval is down but no doubt that the polls are so biased to take 6 or 7 points more from his approval numbers. Never before we have had so many polls coming in an off election year and the reason for this is very simple. The media is doing all these biased polls to demoralize the Republican base and it is succeeding to “some” degree as we see from the knee jerk reaction of many freepers. The media is taking any event that is happening and distort it with the most negative spin to demoralize us. Rather than falling for the media lies, distortions and very negative spin we must take anything they write or say turn it around on them and destroy all their lies and spin.

(2) Ask the White House to fight back the lies and distortions of liberal and their media whores. How do we do this? Demand replacing Scott Maclelan? Besides new junkies like us how many people listen to Scott Maclelan? Ask the President to hold a press conference every week to expose the lies liberals and their media? Do you want the President to spend his time fighting every lie and distortion made by liberals and their media? How can we guarantee that the media will cover what the President is saying or what any of his spoke people are saying? Can they just ignore what is he saying?

(3) Put pressure on the RINOS to stop screwing the President agenda. How do we do this? Ask the White to twist their arms? What if the RINOS say to the White House “Screw you”? Ask the GOP leadership in Congress to twist their arms? What if the RINOS also tell them “Screw you”?

(4) Purge the trolls who infiltrated FR in large numbers in 2004 and 2005. These trolls are not necessarily someone who spread Dummy crap on FR. They put on a phony conservative mask and bash the President and the GOP on every occasion. Their main goal is to divide and demoralize. Their job is to spread doom and gloom. Purging these guys can stop a lot of the infighting and the demoralization that is going on. We need to report these trolls to the mods and do not let them get away with this.

If you like Springer and rasslin', you'll love Frontline next Tuesday. Oh, wait! If you like Springer and WWF, you won't be watching Frontline. Reid, Rather, and the other echoians have no effect on the common-sense-filled working Joes because, "That's one of them people on the TeeVee." Mainly by word of mouth, remind the earth's salt with simple truths for simple folks.

Good point, however the doom and gloom mood is getting close to be the norm at FR and not the exception.

There was a post this morning that claimed that Soros is funding the so-called moderate street Republicans (McCain and his gang of traitors). It makes sense when you remember the McCain Feingold bill was backed by Soros.

"I have read more threads than I care to count where folks are posting doom 'n gloom comments, out and out depression has been quite obvious. Some posters even threaten to vote for Dems next time"

They'll cheer up when they get their first glimpse of Mike Pence when he announces his candidacy for the office of President. If he continues on his path, he could very well be the conservative movement's messiah in 2008, bringing us government that would make even President Reagan jealous.

I'm not a "troll." When I first started posting in FR, I was in a rage over Ed Asner's (communist) activism. Also, I needed a respite from a certain "non-political site" after being called every phobe and _ist in the leftist ad hominem manual. Nobody in FR talked to me...until lately. I'm not demoralized because I have faith in the triumph of reason and rationality if we loudly define conservative American CLASSIC liberalism in contrast to what is its subversive antithesis: neoMarxist "pseudo-liberal" socialism.

France is the best example of the *collective* pathological inanity of "liberalized" euro-society whose politicians betray the people in the name of deceptive "egality". Eqality cannot exist in elitist rule.

The riots are Chirac's disgrace. The French government's inaction and subsequent dissembling acts-out like a surreal farce in backward motion. France's citizenry languishes in in patheticly stupid passivity. Evidently, Frenchmen have an inbred dependency disorder which causes them to ignore the evident fact that France's political leaders in ALL parties and factions are more than just stupid and incompetent effetes -they lead France into oblivion.

"Purge the trolls" might be the warcry of intolerant Islamic and fascistic "liberal" fanatics. It seems a more sensible tactic to hold the enemy object in plain sight when you engage your battering ram for rebuttal.

America's problem is its puffed-up career politicians. Support and DEMAND term limits.

I am peeing down my leg laughing so hard at that comment!

Just look at these people on the left. Do you really think these people have the power to demoralize the Right?

Oh c'mon, my fellow conservatives...lighten up! Laugh a little! It'll make you feel tons better! AND STOP listening to the MSM. Turn on Mark Levin. It'll do your heart good. :)

"Maybe get a new forum list for the Chicken Little's who go around screaming RINO RINO RINO."

And perhaps another forum list for all of the GOP Big Tent RINOs, liberals and moderates around here who fail to understand that FR is a conservative site for conservatives.

What's the solution? Remember FR is a conservative website, not a GOP pom-pom club.

Simple.

France, the U.N., Red China and Cuba support Hillary by 94.6%*.

Unfortunately, President Bush is a RINO.

Republicans who nominated him as President TWICE prove otherwise.

If you want to claim that President Bush is not a true CONSERVATIVE -- that's another topic. To claim he isn't really a Republican is silly.
