What is so bad about the RNC chair? Maybe they can arrange to stand.

Something is wrong here. Howard Dean is too stupid to be scared. Maybe he can't get his meds refilled in time.

A typical DNC ploy. I can't tell you what how I can help, I will only tell you that you are wrong !
A true face to face conversation defeats that ploy. Just look at the Democratic response after the Presidents speech Friday. (sheesh).

LOL... of course in this P.C. world we can't say "Chairman"
it has to be "Chair". ...can't we all just...get along...?
To: Sybeck1
Democrats usually come on after the Republicans so they can say what they want without being challenged.

dean wants to be able to tell his lies with out someone there who could dispute each and every one of them. If he goes on separately, he can just spout off a whole list of lies and have no one there to call him on it.

Nothing new here (though it's nice to see Dean get humiliated for it). He always refuses to do interviews unless they're one-on-one. That way he gets all the face time, and faces no risk of getting his ass kicked in a debate.
To: Sybeck1
It is not surprising. The left never likes a one on one debate. Dean needs at least two backup flunkies in order for it to be fair in his eyes. Having the host and him against one Republican isn't enough I suppose.

Actually, it is much simpler: RNC has long ago figured that if one tickles him a little, there will be the famous "YEARRGHH!" right in the microphone. One doesn't even need to tickle - shiatsu chair will do. Naturally, Dean is wary.

Apparently the word "Chair" was construed to be the IQ requirement for the position.
To: GloriaJane
Dean knows that Mehlman will make Dean look like the mental midget that he is. You can only go so far on hate speech - every once in a while you have to verbalize your plan for the country. Oh that's right - there is no plan from the Left except bash the President.

Actually, I don't think this is anything new...
I think Dean has refused to do this before. He is a "little" man..and he doesn't want his obvious inadequacies to be as obvious as they would be in a "give and take" type setting.
I am sure he is also insisting on being "last"...so he can smear anything that Mehlman says...rather than put his own thoughts out to be disputed.
I am also sure that Russert will accomodate him....cause Fat Timmy isn't any better than Dean...

If Fat Timmy had any cojones...he would INSIST on them being on together...but he doesn't.
THAT is why idiots like Dean get away with the lies and smears that they spew...they have the media's help.
Betcha Fat Timmy has a lot of "quotes" to try and trip up Mehlman...but, less so for Dean.

Dean is such a wuss. I mean even Terry McSlimeball had enough guts to debate the RNC chairman on many occasions. Howard Dean clearly lacks the guts to do it. Dean strikes me as the type of person who can never look anyone in the eyes when they talk to them. Gutless to the core!

Mehlman can whip his butt intellectually in a debate, in a straight talking way, and appear likeable while doing it. Deaniac knows it.
No contest who wins between the Wit (Mehlman) and Nitwit Dean).
