College Professor to Student: Real Freedom will come when American Soldiers Murder Superiors
Young America’s Foundation. ^ | Nov 17, 2005 | Young America’s Foundation.

Posted on 11/17/2005 1:37:43 PM PST by Clint N. Suhks

HERNDON, VA –Warren Community College English professor, John Daly, said that “Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors.” Rebecca Beach, a freshman at Warren Community College in Washington, New Jersey, received this unexpected reply to a recent email she sent the faculty at her school announcing the appearance of decorated Iraq war hero, Lt. Col. Scott Rutter, on Thursday, November 17 to discuss America’s accomplishments in Iraq.

In the email, Daly told Rebecca that he will ask students in his English and writing classes to boycott the event and also vowed “to expose [her] right-wing, anti-people politics until groups like [Rebecca’s] won’t dare show their face on a college campus.” Daly’s mean spirited and hateful comments were directed at Rebecca for organizing Lt. Col. Scott Rutter and for hanging up fliers contrasting the number of people killed under communism to those liberated under Ronald Reagan.

Since Professor John Daly has created a hostile learning environment for Rebecca, she is demanding that Warren Community College President William Austin institute seminars on free speech and sensitivity to teach intolerant leftists, such as Daly, to be respectful of differing opinion

Daly’s insane email to Rebecca also claimed that “CAPTIALISM has killed many more” people than communism [emphasis his] and that the “poor and working class people” are recruited to “fight and die for EXXON and other corporations.”

“John Daly was hired to teach English, not to verbally attack students and lead leftist protests,” said Jason Mattera, spokesman for Young America’s Foundation.

The full unedited text of Daly’s email follows.

November 13, 2005

Dear Rebecca:

I am asking my students to boycott your event. I am also going to ask others to boycott it. Your literature and signs in the entrance lobby look like fascist propaganda and is extremely offensive. Your main poster "Communism killed 100,000,000" is not only untrue, but ignores the fact that CAPITALISM has killed many more and the evidence for that can be seen in the daily news papers. The U.S. government can fly to dominate the people of Iraq in 12 hours, yet it took them five days to assist the people devastated by huricane Katrina. Racism and profits were key to their priorities. Exxon, by the way, made $9 Billion in profits this last quarter--their highest proft margin ever. Thanks to the students of WCCC and other poor and working class people who are recruited to fight and die for EXXON and other corporations who earning megaprofits from their imperialist plunders. If you want to count the number of deaths based on political systems, you can begin with the more than a million children who have died in Iraq from U.S.-imposed sanctions and war. Or the million African American people who died from lack of access to healthcare in the US over the last 10 years.

I will continue to expose your right-wing, anti-people politics until groups like your won't dare show their face on a college campus. Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors and fight for just causes and for people's needs--such freedom fighters can be counted throughout American history and they certainly will be counted again.

Prof. John Daly

Prof Daly's paragraphs are incoherent. Each sentence is a disjoint idea with no bridge from one to the next. Dizzying. An "F" grade.

What is it about linguistics that attracts the nuts?

Too bad this particular nut didn't live in his beloved communist China when Mao had the Red Guard take care of the teachers.

the colleges anti-harassment policy

http://www.warren.cc.nj.us/docs/Student%20handbook%2005%20to%2006.pdf

Anti-Harassment Policy

It is the responsibility of everyone (trustees, faculty, administrators, staff, students and visitors) to maintain an academic/work environment free from harassment of any kind whatsoever for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Students and all College personnel are required to maintain an environment that allows students, faculty and staff to enjoy the full benefits of their learning and/or work experience. The use of implicit or explicit sexual attention or other discriminatory behavior to control, influence, or affect the performance or status of an individual is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. It is the responsibility of all (trustees, faculty, administrators, staff and students) to be knowledgeable about sexual harassment and discriminatory behavior, the College policy against behavior, and to inform the Director of Human Resources (Sharon Hintz), who is the College’s designated Compliance Officer, any manager or supervisor of any and all allegations of sexual harassment or discriminatory behavior received or observed. Prompt reporting will allow reasonable steps to be taken to investigate and remediate the situation. Any student, faculty member, staff, administrative employee, trustee or visitor to the College, determined to have violated this Anti-harassment Policy will be subject to immediate and appropriate disciplinary sanctions. Sanctions for employees may include oral reprimand, written reprimand, probation, suspension (with or without pay), or dismissal from employment. Sanctions for students may include a warning notice, probation, suspension, or expulsion. Non-employees who violate this Policy may be subject to partial or full restriction of their use of the College facilities and access to the campus. The College reserves sole discretion regarding the imposition, enforcement and severity of any disciplinary action taken.

Harassment

This Policy refers to, but is not limited to, harassment for the following reasons: (1) Age, (2) Race, (3) Ancestry, (4) National Origin, (5) Religion, (6) Gender, (7) Affectational or Sexual Orientation, (8) Marital Status, (9) Handicap, (10) Creed, (11) Engagement in protected activity, (12) Veterans’ Status, or (13) Sex or atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait of any individual; and any other protected category to be subsequently included in the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. Harassment shall include words or behaviors or the display or circulation of written materials or pictures degrading individuals or members of any protected category as listed herein. Any harassment whatsoever of Warren County Community College’s students, faculty, staff or trustees by other members of the College’s student body, faculty, staff or trustees will not be permitted, regardless of the relationship whether on or off campus. Such behavior undermines the employment relationship and educational atmosphere by potentially creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment and will not be tolerated by Warren County Community College.

Indeed. I'm an English teacher, and that's far from the only mistake I see in that e-mail...

Ah, easy to see why. Here is the rest of his "biography":

English courses generally are taught from a rule-based perspective. Students become overwhelmed with these rules and often find the exceptions make them impossible to manage. Linguistics view language from a descriptive point of view—that is they understand language in the same way you might organize a sock draw—by dumping the contents on the ground and seeing what goes together until finally ending up with a super-efficient drawer (or deeper understand of grammar and writing). Students often respond to this approach.

The good professor's words are the sad, pathetic, putrid droolings of a thoroughly demented and depraved mind, void of logic, reason, coherency, or facts.

John Daly? What's his DUmmie screen name?

There is a chance he might not be a DUmmie. In his rant he forgot to make at least one reference to "Chimpy", "Bushitler" or any other DU approved nickname for the President. I think that is is a requirement for any correspondence issued by a DUmmie.

If what the professor said is true, then real academic freedom will come when students murder their professors. How does that sound, professor?

Copies of my letters to "Professor" Daly and President Austin:
Dear Professor Daly:

Just two comments: (1) I hope that you have tenure in hand, as the quality of your writing would not qualify you to teach high school English in a school district with rational standards. (2) When you retreat to your home, I encourage you to give thanks to whatever God you worship that brave men and women are paying a heavy price, and sometimes the ultimate price, so that you can express such misguided ideas.

Contemptuously yours,
Kerry Myers
Sparks, Nevada

Dear President Austin:

I write this day to encourage you to call English instructor John Daly into your office "for a frank and earnest exchange of ideas." (A bit of diplomatic English, there.) Mr. Daly seems to have lost sight of the fact that the American college is intended to be a free marketplace of ideas. Mr. Daly's e-mail to his student Rebecca Beach is a blatant suppression of ideas contrary to his own. How does this sit vis a vis the vaunted notion of diversity?

Respectfully yours,
Kerry Myers

This professor is right out of Animal Farm and 1984 (I'm thinking pig with a goatee).

I am sure he is. After all Move-On/ANSWER had a similar "protest" sign up stating "we support our troops when they shoot their officers". And if the left hates "big oil" that much, then they should stop accepting campaign money from them...
http://www.discoverthenetworks.com/funderprofile.asp?fndid=5209&category=78

On the lighter side, he is easily identified as a leftist since he has no idea what the definition of "is", is.

Here are some more links so anyone, including trolls, can reference the connections.

What groups get money and who funds them:
http://www.activistcash.com/index.cfm

Detailed research into leftist groups and terrorists:
http://www.discoverthenetworks.com/

Pictures from various leftist "peace" protests:
http://www.zombietime.com/

Now, if you can stomach this, you can also search through the stormfront.org website. They are an umbrella group for white supremacists. They also form the backing for many of these "peace" groups, most notably, Cindy Sheehan's little bag o nuts.

It wasn't until I searched the forums of that disgusting group that I finally found the reason why these "pacifists" seemed so bent on armed revolution in the USA. Why would a bunch of anti-gun freaks want an armed rebellion against conservatives who, by and large are armed and many have military backgrounds. Then I saw the stormfront.org site and it all came together. The "allies" of these leftists, the supremacists and terrorists, will do all the fighting and these leftists will come in and create a socialist "utopia". What these leftists fail to understand is, if the supremicists and terrorists win, the leftist freaks (i.e. Queers for Palestine, NOW, PETA, ELF/ALF, etc) will be exterminated.

That is what several years of researching and fighting terrorists has shown me. They will use the Sheeple on the left and then kill them. Obviously my opinion, but this useful idiot of a college professor just proves it again and again.
Add to this the statement of a tratorous senator from PA and the evidence piles on. Add to this Kerry's statements, Al Quieda's statements, Move-on/ANSWER's speaches, etc add nausium and the hair on my neck stands up.
In the left's mind, "diversity" is the representing of different opinions between Communists and National Socialists. Conservatism is not welcomed in leftist "diversity".

Except for the fact that the professor is obviously insane, yes his statements, imo, are chargeable as the felony of sedition.

I know you don't need a PhD to teach, but do you need a PhD to call yourself a professor? Like I said, when I was in college, with rare exceptions, all "professors" had a doctorate degree of some sort. If you only had a MA/MS or BA/BS you were called an "Instructor," "teaching assistant," or "adjunct professor."
