Iraq War Vet Spat On, Called Baby Killer

Over the course of the eight months of the D.C. Chapter's Friday night demonstrations in support of our troops recuperating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, we've been fortunate to be able to able to speak with many soldiers and hear their thoughts about the war and those who protest against it.

Recently, one soldier shared his stories with us of his experiences with those opposed to the war. To preserve his privacy from vindictive leftists, I'm leaving out details that might help them identify him.

The soldier told us of returning to a stateside civilian airport last year in uniform. Most of the time, he said, he and his fellow soldiers are greeted warmly, regardless of politics.

However, this time he was approached by a man who berated his service. The soldier responded with what is a standard statement, that he was fighting for the man's right to make such comments.

The man replied by spitting on the soldier.

A police officer witnessed the exchange and promptly intervened. He arrested the man for assault and took him away.

This month, while the soldier was staying at Walter Reed, he ventured out with four of his buddies for a relaxing evening at a local establishment.

A man approached the obviously wounded soldier and called him a "baby killer." The soldier responded by telling the man that he was fighting for his right to say things like that.

The man replied by shoving the soldier hard in the chest with both hands.

The soldier instinctively defended himself and decked the man with one punch.

As the man lay on the floor, five of his friends approached the wounded soldier to take him and his four buddies on.

Foolishly, they failed to recognize the group of eight Marines and Air Force personnel also hanging out in the joint who had been watching the wounded soldier's back.

It was all over very quickly. The manager asked everyone to leave, but he made a point of thanking the military men for their service to our country.

In 1971, we'd be arrested for retaliating.
I love a good punch...line.

He did have his 4 buddies there also,so my best guess is that the 5 a-holes would have been beaten senseless.

The anti-war lefties warned that Iraq could be another Vietnam. Yet it is THEY who don't support our troops
(bringing them home now defeats the mission). It is THEY
that spit on our soldiers. Did any conservative/war supporters
in the Vietnam era spit on soldiers? No. It's all the
appeasement, "peace is patriotic", hate/blame America first crowd that does this kind of crap.

I wish I'd have seen that last one, better yet, I wish I'd had a camera. I hope they kicked arse. If you see him or any of our servicemen give them a heartfelt "God bless you" from me.

Iraq War Vet Spat On, Another assaulted and Called Baby Killer -- So it begins again. This time though I get the feeling that it's not going to tolerated. In these instances it wasn't. I do like the happy ending on these two instances.

I swore I'd do my best to support the troops when those a$$wipes showed their ugly heads again and began their anti-war stuff. It was bad enough RVN vets had to go thru it, but they won't get away with it anymore. I'm glad these guys stood their ground and put a stop to it right then and there.

There will be more of it, but we can't let it go by without stepping up to back up our guys. We can't let the twits get away with it this time.

...in other words (on what I was saying) they say "we don't want another Vietnam", yet THEY were the ones who have
helped our enemies by cheering for a pullout. THEY are the ones who spit on soldiers. THEY are the ones who call for
the President to be impeached if not executed (see Randi
Rhodes, Mike Webb). THEY are the ones more likely to display
a hammer and sickle flag at their rallies instead of an American Flag (A.N.S.W.E.R.= Workers World Party= Commies)

It's either hilarious or pitiful (I can't decide which) when some liberal brained asshat that is pro abortion calls a soldier "baby killer".

Guns don't kill people, but abortion clinics do.

Saw that one on a T-shirt.

This brings back memories of 36 years ago with a simular outcome other than the leftist pond scum was unable to walk away. San Francisco airport security said the perp suffered an accident of his own making.

At the gas station down the street they let you pump your gas and then pay, the other day someone payed for the gas of a soldier before he came in to pay. He came in to pay and the girl behind the counter told him it was taken care of. You should have seen the look on this kids face, priceless. She would not tell him who. The differnce between the left and the right is the right do somthing good while the left just bitchs

"I've been waiting for this to start happening.
The past is prologue."

Same here. If Al Qaeda has a flag look for the hippie liberal scum to start waving it at demonstrations. 30 years from now these liberal traitors will say they supported our troops during the Iraq war. In fact it is the enemy troops they are supporting.

It has started, and it sounds all too familiar. I pity the pro-Jihadists who tries something like what happened in the “local establishment” at the Junction Café (my favorite watering hole). Not really. Just trying to be polite. I would have absolutely no pity.

What a bunch of punks. They should back off and leave these soldiers in peace. While the soldiers in Iraq are not, IMO, fighting for OUR freedom, they still deserve our respect for fighting for our interests and fighting against the evil Jihadist sub-humans.

The flotsam of America. And Jihad Cindy wonders why no one showed up at her book signing. Let 'em keep it up. Soon no one will come to their pathetic anti-America rallies.
