The legal limit in Texas used to be 5 or 6. I had a friend who was infertile who worked with a girl that by the age of 23 had hit the limit. Then she had a child with downs syndrome. People gushed about how brave she was. This was all about 20 years ago.
These stats came from The Alan Gutmacher Institute - Alan Gutmacher was the first president of PLANNED PARENTHOOD! This "institute" is one of many that are basic shills for population control freaks at Planned Parenthood.
At the peak of the abortion rate years, one in three pregnancies were aborted according to the voluntary self- reporting abortionists.
They report today that one in four four American children in utero aree aborted. Of course if you have killed off 1/3 of one generation of fertile women already, it is pretty obvious that the pregnancy and abortion rates would be in decline.
Note: California (one of several states) doesn't even report their killse nor do they require abortionists to report to the state their kills.
Here is one story on rate of repeat abortions.

The statistics on repeat abortions are very disturbing. Abortion is supposed to be something which is done with "great concern." It is frequently said, "no one has an abortion casually without giving it a lot of thought. " If abortion is taken so seriously by women there should be very few repeat abortions. And yet nearly 1/2 of all abortions in the U.S. are in this category. Health care professionals and abortion providers should be very interested in the causes of the phenomenon, but there has been very little interest in studying the women involved in the practice. Surgeon General Koop ignored repeat abortion in his recent letter on the health effects of abortion on women. This newsletter has included virtually all of the studies on the subject. These studies, primarily by pro-choice advocates, demonstrate increasing risk of infertility and reproductive damage as well as increasing adverse psychological and social effects.
Surgeon General Koop ignored repeat abortion in his recent analysis on the health effects of abortion Repeat abortion represents a failure of the pro-choice rhetoric. If women truly perceived their abortions in a serious light, why do so many make the same mistakes over and over again. One answer is that abortion is being used as a means of birth control. This is particularly true of repeaters for whom contraception is often ineffective. To use abortion as a form of birth control is a highly objectionable approach given the dangers of repeat abortion to women's health and well being and the repeated massive loss of unborn human life.
A second possible explanation for repeat abortions is that there is pathological causality in the women's behavior. If there is any evidence of pathological ideation, this should truly raise sufficient concerns to encourage research, since there are so many women involved in the practice. The personal stories of women who have had multiple abortions often carry some evidence of this, if only in the sense that the women seem unable to take hold of their own destiny, make choices which are truly beneficial to them, and break the cycle of self-abuse. Indeed, repeat abortions suggests the possibility that women aren't truly acting out of "choice" but are allowing others to use them. If this is so, repeat abortions make a mockery of the slogan "pro-choice."
With the large numbers, and the clear dangers of the practice, it is essential that we take responsibility for protecting women's health by studying it and seeking some way of limiting it's practice.

Hillary's Doctor Offers 'Born Again' Abortions
http://www.covenantnews.com/newswire/archives/016550.html
Editor's note: According to William F Harrison's book review of My Life by Bill Clinton at Amazon -- This guy was Hillary's doctor and a friend of Bill and Hillary since the 70's.
"I am almost 69 years old, and have been a student of all of the presidents of my lifetime, starting with FDR and going to GWB. I have known Bill and Hillary Clinton personally since they both moved to Fayetteville to teach at the University of Arkansas Law School in the early 70s. I met Hillary first as her physician and she soon introduced me to her then boyfriend, Bill.". William F Harrison
I'm amazed and of course not surprised at the utter selfishness and rationalization that occurs in every single article I read about women who choose abortion. Like it would ruin your high basketball career because you are pregnant? But in every one of these stories even with the super callous Amy Richards who doesnt want to buy large jars of Mayo from Costco is a deep realization that they are killing their child so of course they rationalize it away. Its kind of sad in a pitiful way I guess how self-centered and selfish these people are. Here they have a chance to give the greatest possible gift they could give to someone, a gift from God, and then they say no thank you God and think about themselves and take the easy way out. But of course God always makes the easy choise as opposed to the right choice bite you in the butt whether it be the hole in your heart, a nagging conscience, the wondering of what could have been, or eternal life with the devil. I also don't buy the argument that we should have abortion because every child should be a wanted child. Even though there are horrible mothers out there, you'd be hard pressed to find women even among the worst who when the first see their child or when the child has turned 18 realize that they should have chosen differently. Of course if they try to go back on that decision with a retroactive abortion, we throw them in jail.
I've known at least 4 women who all should have aborted according to the NARAL crowd. All single, poor, still in high school, not ready for a baby, and Daddy wasnt going to help. One was even raped. Despite being the b-word to everyone else, they all love their babies and I know have grown up and changed for the better for it. Seriously how many women despite poverty, circumstances surrounding conception, age, level of readiness, education, and addiction would really look at their child all grown up and think I should have aborted him/her? I bet very few.
And it's a vary good thing for her that her mother didn't feel the same way. Amen.
I read somewhere that the average woman who has one abortion will more than likely have more. I know of two people who did have more than one abortion. Sometimes the second time the woman or girl gets pregnant it is to replace the first aborted baby but then decide that they could not have that baby so they get another abortion. But let us not forget the part men play in all of this. The three women who I know who got abortions the men in their lives(husbands and one boyfriend)demanded that they get abortions. I think thats why some women get pregnant right away again. You know maybe he might change his mind and want the second baby. Then again the women wanted the second baby because of the loss over the aborted baby.
Anyone who has grown up in a terriable family life and just maybe the child was not treated good, should they have been aborted? Growing up in a violent home scared all the time not knowing for sure about eating. Walking the streets to get away from your violent father who just wants to beat the crap out of your mother, do I qualify? I could go on and get intense but I don't think it is necessary. A few years back I met a very lovely young lady and found out that she was a result of a rape, I will never forget her and her smile. It was hard for me to believe that she should have been dead to make right the evil that was done. That way of thinking the mother should still just blow her brains out! Life is not perfect and never will be. But should will kill anyone who happens to get in the way of our happiness. For me I don't mind paying for kids to be born there are many, many other things the government pays for that get me angry.
"she came up to me and said "HI" and I recognized her but forgot who she was."
A woman whom you barely know, can't recognize on sight, and yet you know so much about her gynecological history? Um..... sure.
