Absolutely, maica. The left wants to eliminate all vestiges of morality. That way they can do whatever they want.

And it's that same characteristic that allows them to lie with impunity and not think a thing about it.

Think about what John Kerry said today. It was the polar opposite of what he's said before.........and it doesn't bother him a bit.

They have no consciences left.....and they want to run the country. It's frightening.

Thanks snugs, that means a lot to me coming from you

I deeply believe in the right of every human being to be in control of his or her own destiny, and nobody yearns for being under the thumb of a Tyrant like Saddam Hussein, and I believe it is our duty to come to the defense of the people under the boot of someone like Saddam.

I did not need any other reason to justify our invasion of Iraq and removal of Saddam, than the moral responsibility that we have for the God given right to Liberty every one of God's children deserves. Saddam Hussein is history and he will be executed for what he did to his people, and the families of those who were murdered by this mad man, will be forever grateful of the sacrifices we made for the right to that God given right to Liberty.

I'm very proud that we have a President who understands this, and is willing to commit all of the resources of our great nation in this worthy cause

This letter is from the uncle of Cpl. Starr, whose letter W read today ... how blessed we are to be in the midst of such courageous young men and women. Just look at the crowd of volunteers at the Naval Academy today, and our blessings truly overflow.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Memorializing our war dead As a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, I have dedicated many Memorial Days to friends and comrades who died in Vietnam. I have tried to teach my children what the day is all about. I have visited countless sites to honor those who have died to ensure and protect our freedoms. This past Memorial Day dealt me a blow with which I am strangely unable to deal.
Shortly after rolling my grill out to the front of my house for a neighborhood party in remembrance of the day, I got a call from my sister telling me that her son, my nephew, U.S. Marine Cpl. Jeff Starr, had died as a result of hostile fire while on patrol in Ramadi, Iraq. She asked that I go to be with Jeff's sister, a medical student about two hours away from San Diego. I was numbed by the call. He was, after all, going to be home in just two weeks.
This was Jeff's third tour in Iraq; he was there for the battle of Baghdad at the beginning of the war and fought in Fallujah during his second tour.
Two weeks ago, he turned 22.
Jeff entered the Marines right here in San Diego at the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot and was then stationed at Camp Pendleton. He was a frequent visitor to our house, sometimes bringing his Marine buddies with him. We were happy to restock the refrigerator after they left and let each of them take what seemed like two showers a day. One weekend Jeff played soccer with all three of my kids at the YMCA soccer arena in Encinitas. We were there each time he came back from Iraq, once waiting until 2 a.m. for his unit to arrive.
Just before his third tour, I asked him how he felt about going back to Iraq to fight once again. His response showed a maturity that few ever reach. He said, "If we (Americans) don't do this (free the Iraqi people from tyranny and offer them a chance for freedom), who will? We are the only ones who can."
My sister and her husband lost a wonderful son, their girls lost a beautiful brother, and the rest of the family lost a precious nephew and cousin. We all lost a hero; we lost the best America has to offer.
Memorial Day will never be the same for us. I still cry for my friends and fellow soldiers lost in Vietnam. But future Memorial Days promise a memory of a loss that I cannot adequately express. We miss him so much.
TIM LICKNESS
San Diego "
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Michelle Malkin details how the NYSlimes distorted Cpl. Starr's story.

You'll also find this on her site:

" He wrote: "Obviously if you are reading this then I have died in Iraq. I kind of predicted this, that is why I'm writing this in November. A third time just seemed like I'm pushing my chances. I don't regret going, everybody dies but few get to do it for something as important as freedom. It may seem confusing why we are in Iraq, it's not to me. I'm here helping these people, so that they can live the way we live. Not have to worry about tyrants or vicious dictators. To do what they want with their lives. To me that is why I died. Others have died for my freedom, now this is my mark."

What Jeffrey said is important. Americans need to understand that most of those who are or have been there understand what's going on. It would honor Jeffrey's memory if you would publish the rest of his story.

Mr. Lickness also told me: "Even more than a Marine, Jeff was a man of God. At a recent memorial service at Camp Pendleton for the 16 Marines from his unit killed in Iraq we got to meet the men who were with him when he died. They told us of his bravery under fire, his leadership, his humor and his humanity. America lost the best it has, but the family knows he's with his Heavenly Father and we will see him again."

Now you know what the Times left out. Now you know the rest of Corporal Starr's story.

You can pay proper tribute to Corporal Starr here."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God be with this and all the brave military families who have sacrificed so much for US.
Thank you, Gretchen. I love him, too, as does my wife. I am thankful every day that he is our president. I knew it was important in November, 2000, when they were trying to steal the election from us. But I had no way of knowing for sure just how important.
'President Bush loves his troops'
Agree, Mike. And, I think they love him as much as he loves them. And, we LOVE our troops and our good President.
Joe Lieberman now on with Hannity. He says 82% of Iraqi peo believe they will be better off next year. They are very optimistic. He was in Iraq over Thanksgiving and he say things are much better....most problems in Sunni triangly, but, even there it's better than it was.
According to ABC News, the dems are accusing President Bush of being "too optomistic" about the future in Iraq...
I bet those poor Iraqi people would LOVE to hear optomism for a change...
OWF... If I could ask anything from those who ignore the global struggle we are in because of their political whims and wishes, I say this........ WAKE UP!, We are in a struggle that could be very much as tough as the struggle we had to endure when we vanquished Hitler's Germany and Japan.
If George W. Bush was the President when Winston Churchill was begging Roosevelt to confront the evil of their time, Millions of lives would have been saved, because George W. Bush and Churchill would have stopped Hitler shortly after he invaded Poland.
Once every Century a leader arises that most brush off, and History embraces, just like Churchill, George W. Bush will that visionary that History will embrace
I have a bedtime "fairy tale" to tell you guys...
I was just listening to the Randi Rhodes show on AirAmerika. (Boredom made me crazy)..
Anyway...Once upon a time in Randi's world, George Bush and Osamba Bin Ladin are spoiled little rich boys...both of them secular...until they decided that they wanted to take over the world...
So..George became a fundamentalist Christian...and Osama pretended to be a fundamentalist Islam...now, according to Randi, these are "THE two great religions in the world"..the rest are just little side religions like Hindu, shinto...(no mention of the Jewish religion)...
Any way, these two spoiled rich boys are fighting for the world's wealth in oil, by having FUN making a world war between the two great religions...and pitting one against the other...
George Bush sent in the contractors to Iraq to "create havoc"..and cause trouble in an otherwise "normal" country...so that Bush could send in the American troops to guard the oil...until the "paid contractors" could kill all the Iraqis and get their oil..
Osama is using the Muslims...and "tricking them"...because, again according to Randi Rhodes, "Muslims don't kill other Muslims"....so Osama has to TRICK them into thinking this is a Crusade by Bush...and of course Bush is playing the part by always including a prayer in his speeches..
TO BE CONTINUED......
When you listen to him (I'm listening again), doesn't it make you wonder why anyone even disagrees with him, let alone hates him? Everything he says is so logical and clear, and it's so obvious that he's being honest and that he cares. There's a giant emptiness in the soul of anyone who hates this man....I agree, but I think the visciousness of their attacks is because they are scared and they know how wrong they are. The Lewinsky scandal was used by the MSM to distract the people from the serious crimes of the Clinton administration and when George W Bush became president they were terrified that he would act to expose these crimes and coverups and bring these criminals to justice. That is why they tried so desperately to steal the election in 2000. They are still terrified and that is why they continue to attack in such an irrational manner. If the crimes were exposed it would permanently destroy the Democratic Party and send many of them to prison and they know it.
Joe Lieberman deserves all of our accolades for his Op Ed after returning from his trip to Iraq. Joe Lieberman stepped up in defense of this mission and the strategy for victory in a time when this President needed a patriot like Joe Lieberman the most.
I will never forget what Joe Lieberman did yesterday with his very supportive Op Ed, and I will donate to every campaign he ever undertakes from this day forth
Sounds like something my former best friend would believe. I tend to be a very skeptical person. Rachel, however, would believe ANY conspiracy theory that she heard. (Examples: 9/11 was an inside job? Absolutely! Man never walked on the moon? Darn right!) I never understood it. Conspiracy theories are illogical and irrational. It's beyond my comprehension that someone can be so willing to believe that the entire world is out to lie to her and confuse her. But she's sooo smart cuz she's figured it all out. It's so stupid.
