The CIA Fix is nothing new... check it out:

I do not doubt that travel other than that of the potus and 'co-potus' could have been arranged to coincide with the itineraries of anyone else from that venue, which would have at least facillitated any number of nefarious deeds.
Having honest career people in there just would not do for the Clintons. They would have blown the whistle sooner or later.
Nope, they had to have people from their inner circle in those positions, or at least people who owed/feared them.
Reagan should have dismantled the CIA in 1981 given how they botched Iran by puffing up the popularity of the Shah and totally discounting Shiite unrest. Not mention putting the DDR's economy on par with West Germany's.
Just because the NYT and the Washington Post claim that their information came from "CIA sources" doesn't mean that it wasn't leaked by a Democrat Senator or Representative, someone in the State Department, or even a former government employee. Remember how Judith Miller attempted to "shield" Scooter Libby by calling her source a "former Capitol Hill staffer"? The Left-Wing MSM is not past throwing up a little "monkey dust" to protect their source, nor would it in any way bother them if the rest of the Executive Branch "went to war" against the CIA. That might even cause a few more operatives, analysts and employees to come in out of the cold with anti-Bush stories.
I agree with every thing you said.! We have to stay aware and proactive. MSM and leftist want us to be their third rate country. They are a disgrace and we must never give in to their pettiness and style of corruption.
The CIA made a referral to the Justice Department to investigate the leak of a covert agent, but, I have not heard of a referral to investigate the leak of information on overseas detention centers. This would imply that there was no secret to protect. The EU Justice minister has, as yet, found no member country harboring such centers. Yet, this story is treated as fact. This story has more of a Soviet disinformation sound to it, leak something to the media and it will be treated as truth.
I strongly believe President Bush is gathering hard evidence against those trying to destroy our Republic.
Does anyone think it is at all possible that Saddam Hussein actually infiltrated our CIA? Just because he is in jail and on trial now does not mean his spies and minions woujld necessarily have stopped their efforts to undermine the U.S. in Iraq. We know the USSR placed double agents in very high positions in our foreign policy and intelligence operations. And we know that for years, Iraq was virtually a client state to the USSR and had the most sophisticated intelligence agency of any country in the area other than Israel. Isn't it plausible that the Iraqis learned a thing or two from the KGB? Could we really have a true Fifth Column of Baathist spies throughout our State Department and CIA? Could Joe Wilson be one of them?
And, until some is tried, convicted, and sentenced (preferably to the gallows), this stuff, sadly, will still happen.
For an administration (and a DOJ) that seems so serious about these things, they still have no b@lls to actually do something about it.
Personally, I think we're going to find that Cooper (and wifey) are guilty as hell in all this. Hillary will be played as the "unsuspecting puppet"....the same role she played in Rathergate and Bubba's little affairs.
After all, Hillary and Mandy were in Germany on July 6 2003 when Joe's column came out.
Bump!
I'll say it again - close down the CIA and assign those who should still have a job over to DoD. When an Agency commits sedition, someone needs to be pubished and they should start right at the top.
It seems to me that what's going on is far beyond partisan politics. If however, this is the state of the politics in this country we are in deep, deep trouble.

[...Didn't all this start 45 years ago on a grassy knoll??...]
The CIA is like the third rail.
[...Conservative judges and a Republican Congress are the only things separating us from becoming a socialist, second-rate nation...]
That - and our GUNS!
