That it was... I think what was more shocking was the utter contempt the Germans showed while trying to rescue the hostages. Talk about your heart not being in it. The German government is just as responsible for the deaths as the terrorists.
A question for the FR braintrust: didn't Spielberg falsify history in Schindler's List with some propaganda to match his views on guns (he is very against)? In the movie, at the end, when the germans guards plan to kill the jews, Schindled gives a speech and the guards change their minds. In fact I remember that Schindler procured several machine guns and the jews killed the germans. True or not?
