The articles says it's confirmed. They had to use DNA tests, there wasn't enough left of him to identify through other means. Apparently there was a secondary explosion from bomb-building materials in the building.

What happens if you are in a marathon race and you pass up the guy in second place? What place are you then in?

and these guys thought they were hotshots after 911 and imagined reveling in a victory over the United States... i am glad they spend their days looking over their shoulders and up in the sky... the stress they must go through every day must make them wonder if it was worth it in the first place

Let it be known that there is no future in being an Al Queda leader.

Yea, Zawahiri's and bin-Laden's time will come. I personally think bin Laden might be dead of natural causes, but Zawahiri's definitely still kicking. Not for long, I hope.

"Didn't we kill him before?"

I guess the Number 3 spot is like being the drummer in "Spinal Tap".

More depressing news for Pelosi, Murtha and their DemocRAT comrades. The "corrupt" military is knocking off their "freedom fighters" one by one.

Good stuff. If this keeps up, soon they'll be reporting "One of Top 5 Al Quida Leaders Vaporized - Waterboy Rose to Top Quickly".

And - this is only what we hear about. How many middle-tier operatives (the guys that come, organize, and leave before the strike, like London) have been "disappeared" and we never hear about it ? There's a reason why there haven't been more large attacks.

You're right. My brother asked me that the other morning........ and I said first place. Yoi!

Neverlheless, the point I was trying to make with that question was that there is always going to be someone to take this sicko terrorist's place................ until they are all eating 72 old grapes.

We killed his wife and kids in a previous missile attack and the remains were initially identified as his in error. Al qaeda intercepts with his code name, Rabah, have been picked up talking of his death.
