I saw Stern interviewed on 60 Minutes last night. The guy strikes me as being a very intelligent, articulate guy. In fact,I think that I even saw a little bit of "refinement" there.
But then,I think back to the 3 minutes of his radio show that I once listened to ("I wonder what black chicks smell like 'down there'...probably like watermelon") and that on-air phone call that he made to Air Florida the day after their tragic crash in DC ("how much do you charge for a flight from Dulles to the 17th Street Bridge?") and I know that regardless of how intelligent he may be,he's nothing more than a foul-mouthed,worthless punk.

I was out picking up some auto supplies today and heard Howard on the radio talking about the BOR interview and he was making fun of how bad he looked because of the lighting and his makeup on the set there. It was hilarious and there was no politics or vulgar talk for the 10 minutes I heard. It is sad that he does some crappy stuff, because he can be funny without it.

Nobody who gleans enjoyment from Howard Stern is welcome around me or my family, and definitely not my daughter.
