This site is not authored by anyone with direct access to confidential information. Rather, its purpose is to present to the public information that has been released, and to examine that information in a clear, balanced and intelligent light.
The background of the information
The information began to be released on 2 November 2005 by a retired senior official within the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) who calls himself “Anonymous”. Until he chooses to make his name known, this is the way he will be represented here. Anonymous reports that he is not acting individually and is part of a group of six DIA personnel working together as an alliance: three current and three former employees. He is their chief spokesman.

"Anonymous" gets around. He/she's probably the most quoted person in history.
2) Anomalous orbital data.I know! I know! Because the nimrod who's making up all this stuff didn't think of it, because he or she is a nimrod.
The orbital data supplied by Anonymous (particularly the 865 day period of orbit) do not appear to accord with Kepler's laws. This generated a large volume of discussion on the list, a number of whose members are prominent scientists.
However, it's reasonable to consider that if a story like this was invented the first thing a storyteller would get right would be the physics, as the “correct” numbers are easy to calculate. So the fact that some of the numbers differ widely from those predicted by known laws – a sitting duck for criticism – may be a validating factor, not otherwise. Why set oneself up to be dismissed immediately?
I remember that either LOOK of LIFE magazine did a two week story on this. (FYI: both magazines came out weekly.)
I would go, but the 45 tons of gear would have to consist entirely of coffee, cigarettes, and booze.
Maybe "dark matter" is the dust-free medium the craft move through?
I would like to believe this for a few reasons:
1) Most of us instinctively feel that there is other intelligent life out there (we need to find it because the number of intelligent people is dwindling within the Dem Pary)
2) The way this is took place is logical and in-tune with humanity's curiosity. No shots fired, no major distrust, etc. (that must irk the libs out there because we are nothing more than warmongers)
3) The opportunity to live on another planet and interact with another species is an inviting prospect.
Their book "The Interupted Journey" was one of the first UFO books I read as a kid; loved it...very scary, too. Was made into a TV movie in 1975 "The UFO Indicent" starring James Earl Jones as Barney; also pretty good.
Er, make that "The UFO Incident".

I used to believe in ET life, but this is the only explanation that makes sense to me.
So, the bible says demons (beings from another dimension) are amongst us and their purpose is to deceive?.....Seems like kindaofa boring existence, permanent tricksters, forever destined to annoy us.
In the big scheme of things, isn't this a terra-centric notion?
How do you know it wasn't all written by the same person?

Not saying this report doesn't ring the BS bell.....
But what can one expect from a whitewashed, top secret government report? There is not supposed to be any sensationalism......just pure unbiased analysis by people who were just as skeptical as we are.
I can't wait for the photos that are supposed to be released on Serpo in the coming weeks. Considering photographic equipment at the time, and our current capability of photo editing, I assume there are people who can determine editing etc....

I wasn't looking for a complete sentence which expressed amazement...just one tiny kernal of surprise would do the job. Even military and engineering types are capable of being surprised. The tone of the discussion isn't in sync with the earthshattering topic being discussed.
When you come face to face with someone of another world, doubtful you will inquire about his favorite breakfast or whether they have movie theatres or skating rinks (that wasn't mentioned in the article but that is my sense of it). The article was mundane and unexciting. I know scientists (from reading) that go gaga over the potential existence of nano-sized retroviruses...on the other hand these guys are discussing a field trip to another world and show less enthusiasm than crime reporters covering a parking meter theft.
There was a part in the report that stated the Eben believed in a superior entity (God), and held regularly scheduled services of acknowledgement to the superior.
My question here is.......Is it presumptious on our part to believe that an all inclusive God would only create and manage one earth and one ecosystem, when it would be probable that there would be an opportunity to create other contrasting worlds of intellect?
I know the scientific community has trouble explaining God and creationism. If this is proven true it really blows holes in the theory of evolution!
Keep in mind that earth based research has to be sensational to secure the funding that pays those people.
I assume you haven't read the whole report, especially the part where the Eben had a wrist style video type monitor that had some form of announcement or entertainment. Something comparable to a palm pilot perhaps?? Remember...those technologys did not exist during the decade and a half the visitor exchange took place. There were no laptops, just basic types of physical equipment essentually rendered useless because the physics of another world could not be applied with any surity....according to the report.
Perhaps some of those technologys are being utilized in current computer and other technology??
But on the other hand.....Why would the ET single out Americans as their only contact? And why would there only be American participation in something of Earth shattering consequence since we should assume there were other contacts world wide? And is there still ongoing contact?
If this is true we should assume that answer is yes.
And if there is indeed such an exchange....there should be major breakthroughs in technology and science from directions never previously imagined. Although knowing the inherent greed of mankind, it would be within the scope of belief to recognize greed as the sole reason for the suppression of such a marvelous exchange.
Second is that towards the beginning, they say the C rations ran out in something like 2 years 8 months and then later you read that they "Carefully planned" 10 years worth of C rations.
Boiling water doesn't get rid of "unknown chemicals" unless your talking about distilling it, which they don't specifically mention.
