Shazam! What Took So Long?
Citizen Soldier ^ | December 2005 | Stella L. Jatras

What took so long for it to become obvious that Bosnia and other parts of the Balkans are the launching pad for terrorist attacks in Europe?

The Washington Post writes on 1 December, "Terrorist Cells Find Foothold in Balkans." What a revelation! The fact is, Bosnia became a launching pad as far back as 1992 when the Bosnian Muslim government of Alija Izetbegovic - the government that was supported by the Clinton administration - issued a passport to Osama bin Laden which he used to visit Bosnia and Kosovo on several occasions.

More and more newspapers are finally beginning to expose Bosnia's connection to terrorism cells. A UPI article in The Washington Times of 1 December headlined "Balkans seen as terrorist training ground" reported:

Recent arrests confirm the belief that parts of the Balkans are becoming a launching pad for terrorist attacks in Europe, authorities say. One example came in an apartment occupied by an underground group aiming to blow up the British Embassy in Sarajevo, Western intelligence officials told The Washington Post. There they found explosives, rifles, other arms and a videotape pledging vengeance for the "brothers" killed fighting Americans in Afghanistan and Iraq. Islamic radicals reportedly want to create cells of so-called 'white' al-Qaida, non-Arab members who can avoid racial profiling used to spot potential terrorists.

In 2003, Brendan O'Neill wrote in The [UK] Spectator, "The Bosnian war taught Islamic terrorists to operate abroad. For all the millions of words written about al-Qaeda since the 9/11 attacks two years ago, one phenomenon is consistently overlooked -- the role of the Bosnian war in transforming the mujahedin of the 1980s into the roving Islamic terrorists today."

Will these latest revelations receive as little attention as the report in 1996 in The Houston Chronicle when NATO forces uncovered a terrorist training camp in Bosnia with weapons and explosives? Most disturbing was a cache of ingenious bombs - some made out of children's toys." (my emphasis) Also discovered was a satellite dish giving the mujahedin the capability to communicate between Bosnia and Iran.

The Houston Chronicle further stated that U.S. Admiral Leighton Smith, commander of NATO forces in Bosnia, said as he toured the area, "No one can escape the obvious, that there is terrorist training activity going on in this building and it has direct association with people in the government," referring to the Bosnian Muslim government.

But it gets even more bizarre. Discovered also was a makeup room with charts instructing how to change eye color using contact lenses, peroxide bottles to alter hair color, and a dozen beards and mustaches to use as disguises. In classrooms, instructors had laid out mock-ups of installations. Notebooks detailed the daily lives of possible targets and manuals showed how to build bombs out of children's toys. "There is no military value to these types of devices; rigging toys is an act of terror," (my emphasis) said Col Brian Hoey, a NATO spokesman. His fellow spokesman, Col. John T. Kirkwood, added: "I never saw John Wayne rip the head off a plastic doll and throw it." (my emphasis)

President Bush accuses Iran of sending armed insurgents into Iraq, but where was the outrage when a 1997 Senate Republican Policy Committee report stated, "Clinton-Approved Iranian Arms Transfers Help Turn Bosnia into Militant Islamic Base"? While exposing the Iranian connection to the Balkan war, the report also states that "Perhaps most threatening to the SFOR mission - and more importantly, to the safety of the American personnel serving in Bosnia - is the unwillingness of the Clinton Administration to come clean with the Congress and with the American people about its complicity in the delivery of weapons from Iran to the Muslim government in Sarajevo."

The Italian news agency AKI headlines, "Bosnia: Muslim Newspaper Points to Existence of Islamic Terror Camps," writes, "Sarajevo, 30 August (AKI) - A Bosnian Muslim newspaper on Tuesday joined a chorus of mostly Serbian news reports on the existence of training camps for Islamic terrorists, accusing the international community of closing its eyes in front of this danger. The weekly Slobodna Bosna (Free Bosnia), whose editor is Senad Avdic, a moderate Muslim, in its latest issue described in detail how and where the alleged terrorist camps operate in Bosnia. The paper criticised the commander of the international forces in Bosnia (Eufor) David Leaky for his recent statement that he had no knowledge of the existence of such camps.

"In the article titled 'The Commander of Eufor in Bosnia David Leaky is Playing Dumb', the paper said that there was no point in presenting the facts to the 'uninformed general. 'Is he (Leaky) really uninformed, which is hard to believe, or is he conscientiously deceiving the local public, like most Western politicians who serve in Bosnia and advocate the thesis that the best thing for world security is that all terrorists be concentrated in one place, in Bosnia, where they can be kept under control?', the paper asked. The paper quoted former UN representative in Bosnia, Jacques Klein, as having confirmed to the Security Council that Islamic terrorists were active in Bosnia, but added that it was good they were concentrated in one place, because 'the rest of the world would be safe'."

Let me repeat that idiotic statement by one of the UN's high representatives, "The paper quoted former UN representative in Bosnia, Jacques Klein, as having confirmed to the Security Council that Islamic terrorists were active in Bosnia, but added that it was good they were concentrated in one place, because 'the rest of the world would be safe'." Personally, I always thought that Jacques Klein somewhat resembled Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Propaganda Minister, in facial appearance, with his pointy nose, etc., but then that's just my observation. Goebbels is the one who coined the phrase "If you tell a lie enough times, it becomes accepted as truth, and, the bigger the lie, the more likely it is to be accepted."

The New York Times of 3 December in an article, "Police Raid Raises Fears of Bosnia as Haven for Terrorists," writes, "A recent police raid on an apartment near this city's airport uncovered evidence of an imminent suicide bombing, intensifying the fears of Western security services that Bosnia is becoming a haven for Islamic militants.

Therefore, it is safe to say Bosnia is the birthplace of Al-Qaeda. At the time, Bosnia's Islamic terrorism was focused against the Serbian people, and therefore "justified." But if al-Qaeda could succeed in Bosnia, it could succeed anywhere in the world. Today, their terrorism is aimed at the American people. If only the Clinton administration had taken serious action against known Islamic terrorists in Bosnia when he had the chance, perhaps 9/11 would not have happened.

"How much actually helps the poor Muslim makes me wonder."

In Kosovo, the Albanians are smarter than the Americans in that regard. The average Albanian doesn't care for the Saudi Charities or their form of worship. However, the Saudi's and Iranians are very very clever. First of all, the Saudi Prince gives 40 million to two of our major Educational institutions...(Harvard and GWU), stupidly and ignorant of their means of influence I assume they took the money......with no knowledge of what will follow....very stupid, stupid Americans have allowed this to happen. The left and peaceniks are none the wiser until it's too late...

The poorer Albanian families in Kosovo takes the money.....300-1,000 per month for a salary, but they must practice Saudi style Islamic tradition. (praying five times per day, wearing the veil, reading the Koran, etc....and bring recruits.....)...The Charities require that a mosque be built first before any renovation to schools, hospitals etc...will begin, they have become partners with Albanian businesses......and the list goes on.......the charities are only to get into the system.....and manipulate until the Albanians are no longer in favor of the Americans and the IC....based on the Independence issue...that was bought by the Albanian Mafia through the Democratic party and lobbying groups...how's that for starters......Al Quada is also trying to align themselves with the Albanian Mafia....

"manipulate until the Albanians are no longer in favor of the Americans and the IC"

I do believe the new reluctance to let the Kosovo Albanians realize Kosovo as independent from Serbia will cause the population to look upon the Americans in a negative favour and not the influx of Saudi mosques/money etc. The Albanians love to make money especially easy money and if it comes from Serbia or Saudi Arabia they don't care. To think that the Albanians are easily manipulated is a big mistake and you will find them very wise to the game. Keeping this in mind your following statement;

Al Quada is also trying to align themselves with the Albanian Mafia....

...makes sense because the Albanian Mafia are heavily involved in the smuggling of Afghani heroin through Kosovo i.e. the Balkan road. Their is cooperation between both Serb and Albanian criminal groups in this effort. Money is the universal language here for all involved including the KLA. To think religion will change all this is somewhat of a naive point of view......

I had a feeling the reading was going to get very interesting if you two started comparing notes. It has.

Wraith, while I agree with description of Serbian and Albanian criminal elements working together in the holy name of more money, I also see plenty of opportunity for AQ to poke its beak around and become somewhat of an influence in the affairs of Kosovo. I see a big mess only getting messier.

The money the Albanians receive from UNMIK....?? The KPS makes requests for phone cards....thousands of them. Guess what? The officers take them to downtown, and will sell them to the street vendors for half price...The phone cards are a great way to launder money. The street vendors sells them for full price...the KPS officer receives much $$$$$ for issued cards....

Secondly, house builders receives hundreds of thousands of dollars for building a house...they build a frame of concrete....and then stop. Then they keep the rest of the money and...and,........sell the remaining amount of building supplies...only to leave the frame standing indefinitely.....these are only two of the scams UNMIK and the Albanians pull off.....

Actually I know that we are generally on the same wavelength but having dealt with the Albanians in Kosovo first had it should be "Albanians....money strengthens the con of adopting the Islamic religion, if they want more money..... this is the game. The Albanians in particular the KLA are masters of perception and will always be. You may want to review my posts on Racak. That was the KLA's ultimate con...... Welcome to FR......

Your right on about AQ messing around in Kosovo. They have been there long before 911. Afghani fighters were actively providing weapons system training to the KLA along with religious mind bending. Of course the KLA played along. Funny while I was in Kosovo you didn't hear the mosques calling the unfaithful to prayer very much. The locals were to busy making money......

You have my curiousity......when were you in Kosovo...I was Security Chief for the OSCE in Gnjilane from 1999 to 2004. Have you read the articles that "we" started in August, basically blowing the whistle on the UN and Mafia link. Plus we talk specifically about RHIS and Al Haramain that signed contracts with the UN to operate. Both are bottom line hard core AQ.......operatives.

Yep....you are right..."the con" to the Islamic Imams, "the con" to the UN and "the con" to the U.S......well said!

One person yesterday, that I was talking to from Poland, said the U.S. should get the Russian Mafia to go after the Albanian Mafia.....???? He had no idea....of course, I informed him that all five Mafia's are working together.....better than any organization and doing circles around the IC. Other "agencies" are working with the Albanian Mafia and one particular political party has taken very large amounts of campaign donations.....

My question is......:) what happens if the "purchase of Kosovo's independence" does not pan out? What then.......? Shall we guess that some "folks" won't be too happy.

From my sources, for starters I'll just start writing from the beginning. Wraith can fill in or correct if I am off to some degree. OK? It's hard to say what is the most accurate as deception is the name of the game.

On or around January 1999, the media center in Pristina (Serb controlled at that time)..reported that the Serbian police with support fromt the Yugoslav Army, attempted to arrest a terrorist group that killed a police officer. It was reported to be in the area of "Racak" and about 15 miles or so from Pristina. The Officer was Svetislav Przic. The Serbs also reported that this group killed three policemen in September and October, two policeman from Gnjilane in August and October, and two "Albanian" civilians on December 1998 and January 1999. I could get the details of these attacks if I were to research more.

Now, the final report stated that while the forces approached the village, the members attacked the police officers from covered positions with auto wpns. Police reported that they used firearms and killed several dozen terrorist. Most they claim were wearing KLA uniforms. Interestingly enough, the KVM had given the green light to conduct the operation and actually arrived at the scene afterwards..........

From reports the first encounter did not result in control of the situation. It is reported that the OSCE (KVM) could not conduct investigations due to being fired upon...by KLA members. Also reported from sources that the Serbian forces withdrew due to the continuing threat. Even as late at January 16, on site investigations were prevented.......The evidence was not protected and the Serb forces withdrew. The reason for the withdrawal is not known.......for sure. After Ambassador Walker arrived the OSCE and Serbian reports do not report the same thing.

Walker and group reportedly found 45 bodies....37 men, one woman and one child. Now, the KLA reported that it had counted 51 bodies...to include 9 KLA members. I might add that without any investigation Walker declared a massacre. Also, Ms. Marinkovic wanted to view the site in on Jan 16, 1999, but, but............was told that she should proceed to the site without police protection. Since she is not the star of "Tomb Raider", I understand she refused....:) The KVM had insisted that she proceed alone....:)) can you imagine?

I have more details but this is the initial reports......more to follow....

Tom

That is the big question. With the strain of to many commitments for the US troops those in Kosovo will leave for duties elsewhere let say Iran, Syria and what of Kosovo? The US has established a relationship with the new Serbian Government and supports the plan to leave Kosovo as a Province of Serbia. In short the Serbian authorities will return to kosovo with assistance withe the UN/NATO much to the disappointment of the KLA or what ever they are calling themselves these days. Once this has happened the Thaci and his KLA will return to shooting Serbian Policeman in the back like what happened in Racak before the so called massacre.

The KLA which comprise of criminals and mentally ill psychopaths will once again find themselves in the hills where they started off but this time the world will see the KLA for what they really are not to mention the most important detail, they will be on their own or will they? Getting back to AQ in Kosovo it is anticipated that the KLA will get religious once again because of the need for support from the Islamic fighters in Bosnia and in the middle east. Sounds like a whole new mess in Kosovo or will the Serbs do what they have been doing for hundreds of years, be the front line against the invading Muslim insurgents. You should do some research on the Serbian Winged Hussars if you like a bit of history.

The nine KLA bodies were remove and buried in the area of a village called Malepolce which not far from Racak. If wild Willy Walker was to spin to the world a massacre, having dead KLA fighters laying around the civilians would make selling the massacre a little difficult.

So, will the FBI focus on the Albanian Mafia more in the USA if internationals are targeted? I talked to two of them three weeks ago. I told them that they could target some small fishes...but if they went after big wheels in the Mafia a certain government agency would slow or maybe stop their progress.

Anyway, if the vote goes to no independence, the extremist will start their crap. Secondly, this will justify sending in Serbian Police and/or special operations groups...(which are already in place by the way), under the banner of anti-terrorism. Boy are we in a pickle. Chasing OBL and company in the ME, but supporting a group that is also working with the same Islamic groups against the Serbs. Or, will we change to favor the Serbs......If so, down comes the Poster of Clinton and the changing of Bill Clinton Blvd. Osama Bin Laden Blvd....:))))

If the Serbs pick up the pace say goodbye to TMK and KPC.....Also, internal crimes in the "multi-ethnic" police service KPS, will start being reduced. more to follow.......such a web we have made....
