The History Channel tonight has a two-hour special, creatively titled Brothers in Arms, that will use footage from the game to tell the story of the 101st Airborne, 502nd Parachute Infantry from June 6, 1944, and the D-Day invasion of Normandy through June 13, 1944.

If I remember correctly, the 502nd were Pathfinders, first in.

This has been a good show!

I'm not much for games, but I think i could do this one. Seems like they worked hard to make it historically accurate.

I really enjoyed it. They flipped from actual footage, to the game scenarios, then to interviews. Watching the air wars now.

Me too. I suck at flying games. Good thing I didn't go to helicopter school.

Recently made friends with a man who passed away not long ago from cancer; he was D-Day+1. Had some intense stories to tell. Had allot of sorrow in his eyes when he spoke of it.

You are very lucky to have been granted that opportunity.

My grandad never would talk about his war experiences.

I always liked Mark Knopler's guitar and vocals. BIA was a great album and it has amazing sonics, too!

I'm not much for games, but I think i could do this one.

From a gaming standpoint, it sucked. Aiming the guns is almost impossible and was the main reason sales dropped off quickly after being released. Even experienced gamers who play the first person shooters had a very hard time with it. I don't know about the sequel "Earned in Blood" but I'm not going to waste $50 or $60 to find out.

It was a good show, I miss part for the President speech (great speech), the game is easy my son has it. The game is more of a true life simulator game, then arcade game.

Dad went through the whole war, from DD-1 to liberation of a death camp. It was hard, he didn't like to talk about it to much.

Isn't this a re-run? Or is this something new to do with the original Brothers in Arms that ran on History Channel?

I think it's new, it had something do with the original Brothers in Arms game.
