Soon, Godzilla will be destroying Tokyo and there is nothing any one will be able to do to stop it.
I'm sure you are just trying to be funny, but you raise a real issue. It seems very possible Godzilla could be awakened by all this volcanic activity.

That's true, but some times some things are just facts. These volcanoes are a reality.
There have been underwater volcanoes for the last 4 billion years, and there's been no INCREASE in underwater volcaneoes.
The "Iceagenow" site is completely worthless, and the author is an abject moron.

Global warming is real, not from above but, from below! I've read there are new islands forming below the ocean around Hawaii that will eventually add to the chain. Are there underwater volcanoes in the Caribbean?
"Kick 'em Jenny" is an underwater volcano near Grenada that has had known eruptions since 1939. There are underwater volcanoes all over the world.
It's completely mind-boggling to me that some nitwit like this imbecile from "Iceagenow" can simply blindly catalog reports of underwater volcanoes, claim there's been a massive increase in underwater volcanoes because he's able to make a list of underwater volcano reports, and then have his SOLE source for there being an INCREASE in underwater volcanoes be "India Daily", which completely fabricated (that's "made up", "falsified", "invented" for the dense) an article with imaginary-non-existent, unnamed "scientists" claiming there'd been a massive recent increase in underwater volcanism, along with a fake graph supposedly showing said increase they simply drew with paintshop or whatever... And people just blindly buy it.

I heard it first on 'Coast to Coast'.............. on the radio.
Sometimes the show is quite excellent!

You, Strategerist, misunderestimate this.

I'm really, really sorry for people that get their scientific information from coast-to-coast.
Shame critical thinking skills are going in the toilet in this country.

Shoot! If only we had signed Kyoto... But then we would really be in trouble because the ice age would be come even faster. As citizens of the world, we have a patriotic and environmental duty to create as much carbon dioxide as possible to increase global warming and to forestall the coming ice age. Just close your eyes, click your heels together 3 times, fart twice (methane is a greenhouse gas), and repeat to yourself out loud over and over, "humans CAN control the weather, humans CAN control the weather, ...."! By talking out loud, your carbon dioxide output will be greatly enhanced.

The magma could be as much as 2,150 degrees Fahrenheit - 10 times the boiling point which could lead to much warmer seas and thence to an ice age. Quick, sacrifice some SUVs and throw money at the alter of Global Warming.
To: beyond the sea
I have no idea how hot magma is. I just heard about the heat of McDonald's hot coffee.
Mc Donald's coffee is hot enough to generate $2.5.

the amount of CO^2 emitted by human activity has almost as much effect on the earth's temp as gnat farts.

"It's Bush's fault!!!!!!!!!!!! He'd better get some anti-underwater volcano legislation proposed or the Dems are gonna win back the house and senate. This just in, the sky is falling and killing just minorities and left wing journalists. Early reports suggest that the Bush administration ordered the U.S. military to make the sky fall. More as this story develops." ---

I could never understand the "warming oceans equals new ice age" logic, either."
You know. Kind of like how Coleman refrigerators use fire to make ice.

What the writer really meant to say was getting burned with Magma at 2150 degrees F hurts 10 times more than getting burned with boiling water.
