Now President Bush is Lying: Why?
NationalLedger.com ^ | Dec 20, 2005 | JB Williams

Posted on 12/20/2005 8:21:20 PM PST by PlainOleAmerican

In the President’s address to the nation Sunday the 18th, 2005, he made this statement, “It is true that Saddam Hussein had a history of pursuing and using weapons of mass destruction. It is true that he systematically concealed those programs, and blocked the work of U.N. weapons inspectors. It is true that many nations believed that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. But much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong.”

This is the confession many Americans have been demanding for years now and for what-ever reason, the President decided to make this confession before the world community in this address. But is this a true and accurate assessment of the situation as we now know it, based on the facts?

Another case of posters not reading the article at hand and jumping on the IBTZ bandwagon, try reading the article next time.

The democrat party reminds me of the juvenile (I mean a three-year-old) who throws self on the floor in a fit if not given his or her desires, tossing out the offered goddies because they don't include every demand of the juvenile. Sadly, throwing cold water on their seditious faces isn't going to help as they destroy this nation simply because they cannot force themselves back into power. [And if anyone doubts the deadly nature of the democrap party, consider the tens-of-millions of alive unborn children the democrap party continues to defend the slaughter of as a means to empower their (democrat) political arses; a political party that cannot summarily condemn partial birth abortion INFANTICIDE is a party without moral compass and dangerous to the nation's survival.]

Has anybody read the article? What it says is that there almost certainly WERE WMDs in Iraq, but that after Jay Rockefeller tipped off Syria they were trucked out into the Bekaa Valley.

So was Bush wise to admit that intelligence on WMDs was wrong?

I don't see why this deserves a Zot, other than the silly title.

Read the article folks, not just the lame title!

Though, this shouldn't be in breaking either. It might also be a good idea for the moderators to append a message to the thread title, like "(not what you think)".

The number of buffoons on this thread who are criticizing the poster as a troll without ever reading the article that he/she posted is truly embarrassing. I think I'll come back later tonight when the children have gone to bed.

Spyware Doctor. Is the problem the site or my software? It seems awfully touchy to me but considering the amount of crap I find on my system, I am a touch paranoid these days

JB Williams is a business man...He has a degree in BS...

Poor form to forget full disclosure, n00b. You want to drive traffic to NL, disclose what you're up to, up front. Otherwise, pound sand.

Syria has recently offered to hide Iran's nukes for them if it becomes necessary.

But of course they wouldn't have made the same offer to Saddam.

"Is the problem the site or my software?"

It's the site: Pop-Up Stopper went ape while the site came up. Possibly hotlinked here for just that purpose.
