Mexico thinks it has a right to criticize the U.S. plan to build a 700 mile wall on our southern border to keep out people entering our country illegally.
Mexican Foreign Secretary Lois Derbez says that Mexico has asked the governments of Central American nations along with Columbia and the Dominican Republic, "To join in the fight and to denounce the measure passed by the U.S. House of Representatives to build a wall," on our side of the border with Mexico.
I find it to be the height of arrogance for the foreign ministry of any nation to criticize what we do to secure our own borders. Frankly, it's none of their business. If we want to build a fence, a wall or a moat for that matter on our side of the border, that's our business, we don't need Mexico's or any other nations permission, the United States, is a sovereign nation.
As an American citizen, let me say this as diplomatically as I possibly can.

Well then, Mexico can just deal with border wall. What do we care?
Let them criticize ... while we continue to build the wall.
Of course El Presidente Fox doesn't like it; he's scared crapless that if we succeed in keeping out a million or more aliens, they will start a much needed revolution in Mexico, and there will go his phoney-baloney job.

Where will it be? The border is a slight bit longer than 700 miles.
We also need to use prison labor to build it and get that very tough Sheriff in Arizona (sorry I've fogotten his name) to be in charge of them.
But then it's pretty bad when your strategy of staying in power depends on your peoples ability to leave your country to make a living.
well maybe when he cuts off the oil the US gets from Mexico

Some parts of the border are national/state parks that are so sparse that it would be very difficult to cross (days or weeks without food or water). In these areas, the border is actually the Rio Grande running fast and deep, so a vehicle couldn't cross, either. A fence probably isn't necessary in these locations.
Is it really a wall? I was thinking it was just a rickety fence.

Well stated and right on. This corrupt guy and his filthy "government" are using the U.S. to protect their miserable hides which cannot provide ANYTHING for the Mexican people -- nor do they care to. So Fox wants all the illegal law-breaking criminals in his country to break our laws so they can funnel American dollars into Mexico.
Sad part is that Washington is cooperating heavily with this extortion scheme upon the U.S. citizen and taxpayer.

Can't believe our "leaders" ever thought to get more chummy with these corrupt, incompetent idiots.
Just think how pissed Mexico would br if we fortified the wall with a few well placed gun turrets?? BTW....Just kidding, but the wall is one H--l of an idea. It would be refreshing to think of my tax dollars going to a worthwile cause.
