Mexico thinks it has a right to criticize the U.S. plan to build a 700 mile wall on our southern border to keep out people entering our country illegally. Let them criticize ... while we continue to build the wall.

Of course El Presidente Fox doesn't like it; he's scared crapless that if we succeed in keeping out a million or more aliens, they will start a much needed revolution in Mexico, and there will go his phoney-baloney job.

What is this "wall" going to look like?
Where will it be? The border is a slight bit longer than 700 miles.

We also need to use prison labor to build it and get that very tough Sheriff in Arizona (sorry I've fogotten his name) to be in charge of them.

It takes some kind of nerve for Fox and the Mexican Govt. to be upset about us trying to add security to our border.
But then it's pretty bad when your strategy of staying in power depends on your peoples ability to leave your country to make a living.

But remember how much Mexico helped the USA in the last Century!
Mexicans raiding American border areas in early 1900's.
Aiding and abetting Germany during WWI, selling oil and giving free rein to German agents.
They did turn down the Zimmerman telegram because they did not have enough Mexicans in the border states.
During the depression they stole all of American property in Mexico.
During WWII they sold oil to the enemies of America and allowed their agents free rein.

Just think how pissed Mexico would br if we fortified the wall with a few well placed gun turrets?? BTW....Just kidding, but the wall is one H--l of an idea. It would be refreshing to think of my tax dollars going to a worthwile cause.

"Mexico Upset with Border Wall" "I find it to be the height of arrogance for the foreign ministry of any nation to criticize what we do to secure our own borders. "
I will get flamed for this, but I agree with the Mexicans and Central Americans, but not because I am liberal or squishy about it.
These are not new problems. The illegal border issue has been going on for 30 years. 30 years. It is not the Mexicans, or the Central Americans, fault that they have become dependent financially on illegals. IT IS OUR OWN FAULT.
Don't get me wrong. We need to build the fence. But I believe they have a right to kvetch and react.
The analogy is a property easement. Most laws hold that even if the ingress was illegal, if the property owner let it happen, for whatever reason, then the owner has a legal duty to allow the person, or people, to continue unless compensation is made.
Again, I am not in favor of compensating the countries that send illegals. But we have been giving them these freebies, as a nation for three decades. We have been giving them free citizenship. We have been giving them taxpayer-funded educations, medical assistance, and welfare. I don't blame them for getting riled.

Just call me uncaring, but isn't it refreshing to see Mexico and it's citizens have to meet us half-way on the "UPSET METER", for once in a few decades?
