It's a nice source of many of the idiotic things that have been reported on the MSM over the past year, and includes tons of anti-America, anti-Bush, etc. sentiments. Video clips are there too. Very informative! Merry Christmas to you all!
Nice find. This could actually have been posted in the News section where there is a bigger reading audience.
bttt
Merry Christmas to you, too. I'll take that and raise you a Happy New Year!
They get zanier and zanier every year.
I hope they play the Moyers quote. It's hilarious to watch that guy say the stuff he says with a straight face. The freaky part is that he actually believes it.
That, of course, is only eclipsed by way he gets so angry about "Right Wing Hitmen" attacking his sacred cattle. Good thing Moyers never was a political hack who went after people, right?

Here's a snippet that says it all:
FNCs Bill OReilly: "Now the right wing thinks youre a raving liberal, you and Rather contrived to put Bush in the worst possible light....So are you a liberal?"
Fired CBS News producer Mary Mapes: "Well, Im not sure what a liberal is. Im more liberal than some people. I can tell you my eight-year-old son thinks hes being raised by the most conservative parents in the world...."
OReilly: "Are you registered Democrat?"
Mapes: "You know, I dont know....I dont know if Im independent or Democrat. I know Im not in Texas, Im not sure how Im registered."
OReilly: "So you would describe yourself politically as?"
Mapes: "Oh, my goodness. Im liberal on some things, Im conservative on some things."
FNCs The OReilly Factor, November 10. [52]
I finished reading about half of them...too angry to read them all.
...jessss...I hope the lady in the canoe reporting about the flood as two guys walk in between her and the camera in ankle deep water is in there...

I can tell you what is missing... the stories that are missing!
One of the tricks used by the media is to NOT report a story when they don't like the news.
For example, the Iraqi people have a successful election, the next day on 'Today' we see a report about "domestic spying".
I have been directly involved with our local paper where I gave them news on a local official (that they liked) and they refused to publish it even though it had been fact checked by their reporter because they said it was "too close to the election". Had the information been damning to his opponent, they would have run it without fact checking.
The ability to suppress news is a powerful weapon.
No question...I think it was Mark Levin who said (just last week) that what the MSM do NOT report is more important than what they do (paraphrasing).
* "Its like he [President Bush] stuck a broomstick in his [FDRs] wheelchair wheels."
Newsweeks Jon Meacham on MSNBCs Imus in the Morning May 9, discussing Bushs criticism of Roosevelts Yalta deal with Stalin on post-war Europe.
*****
* "The Libby indictments have opened the door to making the wider case against the Bush administration that they misled the country into war....The next logical step is impeachment, and I think youre going to hear that word come up, and if the Democrats ever capture either house of Congress there are going to be serious proceedings against this administration." Newsweeks Eleanor Clift on the McLaughlin Group, November 5.

The Kanye West George Bush Doesnt Care About Wet People Award
* "The dilatory performance of George Bush during the past week has been outrageous. Almost as unbelievable as Katrina itself is the fact that the leader of the free world has been outshone by the elected leaders of a region renowned for governmental ineptitude....The populism of Huey Long was financially corrupt, but when it came to the welfare of people, it was caring. The churchgoing cultural populism of George Bush has given the United States an administration that worries about the House of Saud and the welfare of oil companies while the poor drown in their attics and their sons and daughters die in foreign deserts." Former New York Times Executive Editor Howell Raines in a Los Angeles Times op-ed, September 1

Quote Of The Year
Reporter Brian Ross: "Mary Mapes was the woman behind the scenes, the producer who researched, wrote and put together Dan Rathers 60 Minutes report on President Bushs National Guard service, a report which Rather and CBS would later apologize for airing...." Ross to Mapes: "Do you still think that story was true?"Ex-CBS producer Mary Mapes: "The story? Absolutely."
Ross: "This seems remarkable to me that you would sit here now and say you still find that story to be up to your standards."
Mapes: "Im perfectly willing to believe those documents are forgeries if theres proof that I havent seen."
Ross: "But isnt it the other way around? Dont you have to prove theyre authentic?"
Mapes: "Well, I think thats what critics of the story would say. I know more now than I did then and I think, I think they have not been proved to be false, yet."
Ross: "Have they proved to be authentic though? Isnt that really what journalists do?"
Mapes: "No, I dont think thats the standard." ABCs Good Morning America, November 9.
