Fox News comes up big in year-end numbers

LOL, Keith Oberman has a ranking of .4 and is listed as the number 3 show on MSNBC.

Another reason to cancel his show.

I don't watch Matthews show anymore whatsoever. It's gotten so I can't even stand to look at him.

It started a long time ago for me, but ever since that spitting, angry puke treated Michelle Malkin so reprehensibly, I hate the b*stard.

He is one of the worst when it comes to getting "almost sexually excited" when he goes after this president these days.

You put it exactly right. Chrissy gets orgasmic when any topic that is anti-administration comes up. It's like he can barely wait to get his meathooks into it, and go into trash-mouthing Bush mode. Whereas, Keith Olbermann is just pure evil and vicious. I mean Sid Vicious vicious. He attacks Bill O'Reilly just about every other day. As that is who he is up against time-slot-wise, he just can't help himself and slams O'Reilly at every turn. Whereas, O'Reilly does not stoop to respond to Olbermann, which is real smart of him. Let Olbermann look as small as he is personality-wise. Olbermann is so desperate to bring some attention to his show that he is trying to start a verbal fight with Fox, and in particular O'Reilly. By Fox not rising to the bait, Olbermann will look the worse upon behavioral comparison, and will sink further and further into the abyss. Wonder when he will get canned; probably when he takes his nasty, snide comments one step too far, even for the MSNBC brass. Hope it's soon.

Let's not get too excited, the 3rd place broadcast news show, CBS Evening News has 8.3 million viewers or about 4 times the viewership of Bill O'Reilly. Bob Schieffer has added about a million viewers a night to CBS's ratings over what Rather was getting.

That may be so, but who are those viewers? Probably those reaching 'a certain age bracket'. CBS and other old media dinosaurs in the 'evening news' business skew dramatically toward an older audience. I bet a sampling of the advertisers on the broadcast would back that up. The problem that CBS and others of faded glory face is that their audience is dying off... rather quickly and research indicates that there aren't many new viewers tuning in to replace them.
