Just let him out on the streets down in that part of town. Wouldn't last a day.
I had the distinct displeasure of working at St. E's in Anacostia at a facility for crazy Marielito Cubans before I moved to the Land of Enchantment. There were 55 murders within 4 blocks of my building in 8 months.
Happy New Year ya'll.
But I wanted to drip it in his nose so the ants would eat from the inside out...
Happy New Year back at Ya.
Working till midnight- oh what a fun life I lead.
One tiny point: Hinkley's parents are elderly, how in the world could they control him if he wigged out and decided to shoot someone again? I don't believe for one minute that he's no longer nuts. This granting of four or five overnight stays at home or wherever with a parent around to hold his leash is nonsense.
sw
The instructions were upside-down and I mounted it backwards.
Got any spare eyebrows??!!??
Happy New Year!
Son in law got tickets to the hockey game tonight. Could be safe at home, but will be in downtown Corpus amongst a couple of thousand revelers.
Will they let you break at midnight?
Hinkley takes meds to alleviate his depression (the cause of all his problems...he's a Victim! But he's all better now!) What if he decides not to take his pills? If his aim has improved and he kills someone this time, we'll be told there's only so much modern medicine can do, and that he squirreled his pills under his pillow because he didn't like the way they made him feel. I don't believe in this 'closely monitored by the psychiatric facilty' line. They added that to cover their collective you-know-what's.
I lived in Corpus for a few years and went to a wrestling match at the Coliseum.
Never saw hockey there.
I do know that catching a flying puck is different than catching a fly ball.
Have fun!
The MA. media never bothered to print Hinkley's interesting background. The neo-Nazi stuff, 'socialist with homicidal urges', all news to the truth deprived in MA. I wish the court were more forthcoming about the terms of these longer stays outside the hospital. The whole thing seems sugar-coated. 'He's fine. Go back to sleep'.
I understand his right to privacy, but his crime was against the office of the President and thus against the entire country, so you'd think we'd have the right to know more than they're saying. (Anyone who lived through the trauma of Nov. 23, 1963 and the interminable aftermath -- forty years and counting -- will understand the point.) For instance, what does this 'closely monitored by the psychiatric facility' involve? A daily phone call? Who's really keeping an eye on him? Who's making sure he's swallowing those pills? In six months will we discover that his family's petitioned to have him set free? After which, a few months later, in small print on the back page, we'll read that his depression returned and drove him to kill someone. Surprise, surprise. But it won't be Hinkley's fault. He purchased a gun quite easily, so it's Smith and Wesson's fault. (In fact, Virginia is where MA thugs go to get guns.)
Pick a colour and start drawing 'em back in...
I'm ready;)
I get to leave at midnight.
Hockey in CC!?
Y'all get snow again?
Arrgghhh, I didn't know my wife was on FR.
Coliseum was great for hockey, they called it the "igloo". Not a bad seat in the house. Haven't been to the new one, it just opened this year.
Krauthammer's the closest I can think of. Of course, he's a psychiatrist, not a psychologist...
Had hockey for several years now. Amazing how popular it is, but there are more minor league teams in Texas than Canada.
No snow, normal south Texas Christmas, 70 degrees and sunshine.:)
Shooting the fin??
;<)
Liked the old one better when they were just the Ice Rays. Still have good cheerleaders though, although they are a bit on the young side.
35yo cheerleaders are on the "young side" of me.
Getting old sucks but what are ya gonna do?
Hockey on TV ain't worth watching but in person it rocks.
Especially if you can get involved in one of the fights!!
