Stupid day and time for the Rose Bowl.
HOOK'EM HORNS !!!!!
Your hypothetical matchup of Oregon State and USC takes place most seasons in the PAC 10.
I'm waithing for Oregon State to play against South Carolina (The Gamecocks). Although my V-chip will probably block the game if that matchup ever happens.
I hate locked threads, so I'll move my prediction to here...
Texas 52 USC 17
Bush held in check. Leinart passes for less that 200 yards. Young passes for 250 and runs for 125 more. Three passing TDs and one rushing. Charles leads the Texas RBs with 85 yard and two TDs. Ramonce Taylor catches a TD and runs one in.
Can we add the following as a link to the ESPN scoreboard?

I don't like either team but I really don't like Texas. Back when Royal was coach they were a perennial overrated team. And Mac Brown, didn't like him a UNC, don't like him at Texas.

It hasn't even started yet and there are already 200 posts!
And... I'm still working!
You should get the admin moderator to correct your unforgivable mistake: leaving "Game of the Century" out of the thread title...
I would say this is the most anticipated college football game between 2 undefeated teams (in the sense that it's been anticipatd for a whole year) since the 1971 Oklahoma-Nebraska game. I hope this game is as good as that one was.
Okay, FRiends, I've been debating this all day in my head, and I still don't know who to cheer for. On the one hand, UT is a Texas school (even if nobody east of I-35 or South of I-20 consider the Llano Estacado to be part of Texas) and a Big 12 school. On the other hand, John Wayne went to USC, and UT is a haven for liberals; basically, Berkely with a Texas twang.
What to do....what to do....I wonder if that rerun of Moesha will be any good?
BatterUp!!!
Play Balllll!!!!
My question is which of these two teams will be hit first in the offseason with recruiting violations, gifts from recruiters, or bogus grades?
Welcome to the limelight.
