I totally agree with you - this list is all over FR with no citation. On one thread poster tosses off casual credit at about post # 120 or so, blithely citing "open secrets dot org"

Quite puzzling why he doesn't provide link or citation up front for this valuable list. Try http://www.capitaleye.org/abramoff_recips.asp

I don't know why it is anything by embarrassing. However, if they are going to engage in this guilt by association and accusation, then this list shows the Democrats are EQUALY guilty and corrupt.

I'd like to see some figures on the money donated to WA State legislators in the run up to the vote on expanding gambling outside of the Indian reservations. Murray and Cantwell received a lot of money on the national level, but I'd bet that there are a ton of state legislators on the take from Abramoff, as well.

I was wondering....thanks for the post. This is big time. Now, are any Republicans implicated? If so, anyone know who they are?

Since the Failed Media is spiking th Democrat Party's part in the story...

How true. I just read about this in USAToday, today, and I walked away thinking that only Republicans received donations.

Gee why so desperate to deflect attention from the Democrat ties???? The point WAS made from the start of this thread that this was the OTHER side of the story. Amazing how desperate supposedly "Conservative Freepers" are to make sure to deflect ANY attention from the Democrat ties to Abrahamoff. Why is that????

Re comment #1, what I overheard while my wife was watching one of the TV network "newscasts" was that there may have been some Democrats who accepted Abrahamoff's money. Hah! 39 of 45 Senators. Yep, that is technically "some."

There is the WHOLE list. My point was to bring up the DEMOCRAT ties since more then enough attention is being paid to this "GOP Scandal". I am curious why the OTHER side of this story is being spiked by the Failed Media?

I would think it would be more misappropriation of funds for purposes other than those intended when donated. the lifestyles of the key folks around Abramoff indicate they lived very well, some folks wonder how and now may get a chnace to understand how they did it.

Either way, it will reach deep into the leadership ranks of both parties... if the investigation doesn't get quashed that is or other major events occur and knock it off the radar a bit.
