Cyclical Ice age gets hold of the earth how severe will it be by 2012?
India Daily ^ | Dec. 29, 2005

Posted on 01/10/2006 10:42:52 AM PST by Lorianne

Ice ages come every 11,000 years. A mega ice age comes every 105,000 years. Both are due between now and 2012. The 11,000 year cycle happens because of increase and decrease of cyclical underwater volcanic eruption. The 105,000 mega ice age happens because of the changing shape of the orbit of the earth around the sun – circular to elliptical and then back to circular every 105,000 years.

Both the cycles are overdue. They have actually started. Europe right now is in deep freeze. Japan and South Korea are experiencing the worst snowfall ever. Even New Delhi is experiencing the worst ever fog and cold weather. Do not get surprised to see New Delhi experiencing the weather of Moscow, Miami experiencing the weather of Chicago.

Since the 105,000 cycle is overdue, the freeze can be real severe by 2012 and beyond. Some Geologists believe that global warming is causing the freeze because of manipulation of warm ocean currents and streams. The manipulation has occurred for many reasons. Global warming from human civilization is one reason. But much more serious is the cyclical increase in under ocean volcanoes and stretched geysers over miles. Such an eruption has recently been discovered in Indian Ocean stretching 45 miles releasing superheated steam to 750 degree F.

Because of this extra heat ocean is getting evaporated. The resulting precipitation is forming the snow and eventually ice. In the last ice age, Montreal in Canada was under two miles of ice. NY was less than 400 feet of ice. The southern US has no ice but had the weather of Canada with very often snow fall.

With our current technology, our civilization will survive the smaller cycle – the 11,000 year cycle that can produce a mini ice age. Food will be scarce and much of the northern hemisphere will be under deep ice with little life there. Serious migration of population will take place from north to south.

The terrestrial civilization cannot survive the mega ice age that comes every 105,000 years. In that case the ocean levels will fall by 500 feet on an average. The whole earth will be under deep ice. How do we know if the ice age that is engulfing the earth is smaller or the mega one?

Some geologists, astrophysicists and scientists believe if the mega ice age is starting then certain parts of the world will be very cold and under deep snow for a few years. At the same time many parts of the world will experience very mild winter. El Nino which is due in 2008-2009 can cause the mega ice age to come. A super volcano in Toba or Yellow Stone can also cause the mega ice age. Earth’s current orbit around the Sun suggests that any of these will instantaneously ( two months for example) put the earth into deep freeze. A burst of cosmic dusts from the center of the galaxy can also cause the same. Severe weather patterns that is taking hold of the earth are not very good signs.

There are an awful lot of people across America enjoying the 'global warming' this week. Except the heating oil folks, of course.

What happened to Global Warming®? Or is this one of those "nuance" things Kerry lectures us on, where Global Warming® is causing an Ice Age?

Excellent post: I have said for years to the global warming lemmings (brainwashed by the idiot liberal lying media) that the greatest risk to civilization is a new Ice Age. It is long overdue, and human activity may be partially preventing it from re-starting.

Two things, weather does not equal climate, and, I've got a house here outside of Montreal, Do you want to buy it before it's under two miles of ice?

Methinks this is a crock. If the above statement is true, please explain to me why evidence of mass global extinction events does not exist for these periods and how species including plants and animals that are ten times older than that are still here.

And here I thought we were worried because the ice shelves where melting and the ocean was rising. One week it is the hottest summer ever on record...oh no, green house effect and global warming, the next we are being told it is colder than ever and a new ice age is coming.

These people should really get together and get their stories straight if they ever want people to buy their propaganda and follow their big government agenda.

Nope, not true. I'll be moving to Sundaland when the land begins to come out of the ocean there.
This is where humans thrived during the last Ice Age.

The Left has positioned themselves perfectly--scare up a storm about Global Warming, say that instead of things getting warmer (as the name implies), they will actually get *colder*...MUCH colder. Then when the Ice Age hits--something that is predictable and has precedent, they can say "See, we told you so!" and ignore all the science behind it. The Average Chump will listen to the Left and become one of their sheep...

Is a feedback mechanism at work in earth's climate system that causes these cycles? Some like to point to possible variability of the sun [very common among stars] as the cause, others hypothesize some cloud of interstellar dust that the solar system passes through periodically. Some look at cyclical changes of the currents in the Atlantic Ocean as being the root cause. In any case the Left will adopt to an Ice Age immediately and ignore any consequential antinomy of their belief system.

Did you see the natural gas company in New York State that was applying for a rate hike because people had conserved, the way they were told to. Therefore, the gas company didn't sell enough product! Just something evil about that.

I am thankful for the warm winter weather. I can afford the gas bills, but I know many who can't.

On the other hand, it's been way warmer up here in Minnesota this year. It's going to hit about 40 degrees ABOVE zero today and tomorrow, and we haven't had a below zero day since December sometime.

Right now, we should be having our usual -10 degree to -20 degree couple of weeks. Instead it's 40 degrees, for Pete's sake!

I've seen that more times than I care to count in New England...the utility companies tell you to conserve, then when you do; they jack the rates, because they aren't making enough money. What BS.

The wackos have two responses. First, it didn't happen. Second, even if it did, "it's consistent with our models." Fact is, they have so many global warming "models" (computerized guesses) that almost any weather is "consistent."

Heard on Fox this AM that most of the country is enjoying warmer-than-normal temps across the board. Seattle's on its 22nd day(?) of rain today as well.

Bring on the ice age! It'll give me a reason to bust out my oversized ski jacket (I live in Florida).

Go to bed and cover gut (pronounced as in German) up.

That's what an old German-American farmer once told be about what to do in cold weather.

It's really wierd here, to tell you the truth. This is just my second winter in MN, but it already feels way too warm for the date.

I just wish I could be in such a business. What a great model. If you sell what you project, you make tons of cash. If you don't sell enough, you jack rates, and make tons of cash. If you sell too much, ooops, supply and demand! You jack rates, and make tons of cash.
I'm not a big fan of regulation, but here is a case where it may be required.

Not to entirely debunk this, though. The timeline (between now and 2012) seems like nonsense, but ice ages do happen from time to time. But I don't think it's the end of the world.
