There are such things as tactical nukes which have a much smaller yield but, have sufficient enough force to penetrate Irans heavily fortified underground installations that conventional bunker busters would probably not be able to do.

Notice how dead quiet the left is on Iran?

For the left, its's a win - win situation.

Regardless of who gets nuked, they will blame Bush.

The massive casualties will be acceptable to them.

If Iran did in some near future nuke Israel, what would the U.S. do about it? Seriously, the last time the Jews were in trouble, the U.S. did very little. Matter of fact we turned down the ship full of Jews that came here for protection back in the forties. They made a movie about it, " Ship of Fools".

I hope that WE would nuke Iran but then I don't think our government has the balls.

Ahmadinejad is possessed & driven with his obsession with the cult of the Mahdi.

His Islamic fanaticism mandates triggering global war in the 'hope' millions of 'infidels' will be destroyed so his Mahdi shall return and complete Islamic 'justice' in a global jihad, thus creating a world-wide Islamic empire.

The sooner Ahmadinejad & the rest of the Mullah controlled terrorist exporting régime is toppled from power, the better for everyone, including the majority of Iranians born after the (allowed) rise of Khomeini by the Carter administration in early 1979.

Two terrorist exporters needing to be dealt with.

In taking on terrorist promoting nuclear Iran (& terrorist ally, Syria) there are possible deleterious risks to the world's oil fueled economy. However, there are unthinkable risks of not taking decisive action geared toward overthrown the terrorist exporters of Iran and Syria - are far greater in the long run.

All we have to do is think back the Khomeini era, what would the reaction have been if Khomeini announced he had the bomb?

"I think Iran is at this moment fitting nuclear warheads on missiles,Thanks Pakistan/China/Russia take your pick it is only money in the end!"

I believe you are right.

I say it is Israels move. Nuke 'em Dano!

With Sharon down but not out, and Israel stuck in substitute leader mode, Israel is not about to invade Iran. It is just politicaly impossible for a stand in leader to start a war, the nation would be too divided.

I figure the war will start with Iran, joined by all the Arab Jihadi neighbors and be finished by Israel and the United States.

Could you ask all the innocent Iranians to move to one part of the country, and all the guilty ones to move to another part of the country?

Reminds me of the Dirty Harry spoof Trax. He goes into a gangland bar and says, "Bad guys on one side of the room, good guy on the other!. Every runs to one side of the bar. He says, "You're *all* bad guys?" And everybody runs to the other side of the bar.

I think Israel should handle this one themselves.

The MSM will still try to keep this under wraps though.

Yep. Spurred on by the usual "dog gone" liberal crapola, I did a google search. CNN was silent as to the remark. AP was silent as to the remark. Surprisingly, even the UPI was silent on the remark. The New York Times, at least the online version, was, predictably, completely silent as to the remark.

And the Washington Post version of the story did not quote the President in full, but while burying it down below in its text, did allude briefly to the remark itself, as noted above. So the typical derision of the liberals against NewsMax is debunked again...and more appropriately...it is shown that the liberal filter and spiking is so pronounced in the MSM nowadays that a Presidential speech itself is no longer immune from their tampering.

Where is Dog Gone's vitriol with them? It's nonexistent...just like the liberal MSM coverage of Iran's plans...

You know who else has rather recently gone silent? Physicist Gordon Prather, who has been vitriolically condemning any concern about a nuclear Iran...going so far around the bend as to claim Iran is Innocent.

Sigh.

"If nothing changes, I see Israel nuking Iran before summer."

Not if God has anything to say about it....

See Ezekiel 38-39. (Re: Invasion army from the north (Russia, Iran, and others) get wiped out in the mountains of Israel.)
