Well said!!! I have been trying to explain to those who don't live on the border; but it is hard to make them understand what goes on here. I truly wish Americans would wake up!!

I have lived on the border most of my life, and I still don't know what to think about whether these activities are sanctioned by the Mexican government. It is easy to think not, but I have been told by Mexican officials that no one gets any political power in Mexico without the approval of the drug lords. Mexico is corrupt beyond belief, which is the number one reason it is such a poor country when they have an abundance of natural resources that should make them a prosperous country.

Thank you for your service as a Marine, and now as a CBP Officer. Thank you also for trying to get the truth out, those of us who live on the border appreciate your efforts and know our toughest fight is to get the word out about what really happens on this border.

But anyone who denies that it is regularly happening on either side of the border is either uninformed or has an agenda. I strongly suggest that you look at the full set of my posts on this thread before making any further comments to me.

This makes me wonder if I should follow in the footsteps of my great great grandfather and be the first to fire on them to start the new Mexican-American war. *feh* He shot Santa Ana in 1836 in Texas. Nah... I'll be a war criminal. Too bad... I'm a dead eye. *grumble*
I have got to stock my rifle safe, however. 'Tis good to have the 2nd Amendment, even if it is de-g0n@ded here in Cali. :(

Please don`t misunderstand me. I have a hard time believing that THE Mexican army is crossing the border. Any US President would be fired in a heartbeat if it were true and, as much as the MSM loves Bush, it would be all over the "news".
Now, are some Mexican soldiers crossed? Maybe, but that`s very different from what was described in the article.

When the Mexican Army invaded the US, what did you do? I did what any sane person that is out numbered and out gunned would do; I took cover.
Did you report it?
Yes.
Could you prove it?
Yes.
Did reporters, who would turn their Mom`s in for passing gas, ignore the biggest story since 9/11?
It happened prior to 9/11 and it was covered in a local Tucson paper.
Did somebody shoot at you?
No.
But, if it was the Mexican Army, you must sound the alarm and alert America to the invasion.
The alarm was sounded years ago. Unfortunately, Washington and the Sheep have not been listening, as youve proved today.

I can see units being bought off. But it's rather difficult to see this being done as a policy of the Mexican government. I doubt Fox or the folks in Mexico City have approved this, but they certainly don't care that it happens, and I doubt they have the ability to stop it.

I worked at the Lukevill POE, just west of the Tohono O'odom Reservation.
The Tohono O'odom Council is actively involved in smuggling drugs and illegals. We've caught them in the act.
As with catching the Mexican military in the act, DC steps in and tells us to release them.

The SOP handed down from DC is to back off observe and report. DO NOT engage or make contact with theses units.
DC does not want a shooting that they may have to deal with.
As long a no one dies, it can be swept under the rug and ignored.

MI, a heart felt thanks (again), to who is one truly on the front lines in protecting our country.
We can never be grateful enough for what you guys do on the border, with what little you've got.

It also cautions agents to keep "a low profile," to use "cover and concealment" in approaching the Mexican units, to employ "shadows and camouflage" to conceal themselves and to "stay as quiet as possible."
BS..shot first ask questions later.

I bet if it was marked by burned-out Mexican military vehicles they'd get a handle on where the border was real quick.

You are being played , folks. Maybe there is an idiot shooting at the border guys, but, come on, its not the Mexican Army! No, you are being played. I have too many friends in the USBP who've seen it for themselves. The Mexican Army is acting as "coyotes" to help illegals cross the border.

But it's rather difficult to see this being done as a policy of the Mexican government. It's not the de jure policy, but it is the de facto policy.
