I have an interesting tidbit of information to share.
My old college roommate's mother is friends with Judge Alito's mother. They go to the same church in Roseland, New Jersey.
Well, the judge's mother shared something with her that hasn't been in the papers and may bring a different perspective to those tears Alito's wife shed in the hearing.
It seems Judge Alito's wife (the former Martha-Ann Bomgardner) has had personal reasons to dislike Senator Kennedy since long before Splash's shameful treatment of her husband.
Long ago, the Senator was also less than kind to girl whose family was friends with the Bombgardner family. A girl that Martha-Ann knew fairly well before her untimely demise.
A girl named Mary Jo Kopechne.
Thanks for the post....hopefully our pajama brigade here at FR will sort it all out....then Drudge will pick it up and from there FOX news will pick it up and the hip bone will be connected to the butt bone and off we go and fat teddy will feel so ashamed he will go off and hide, never to be heard from again....and I'm a Texas Dreamer....who will win the next lottery.....
Regarding these items:

I wrote them both; they are actually the same article posted on two separate sites. They are fake. Those are satirical sites. At least, the stuff I write for them is.
That some would accept them for more than they are is amusing.
Perhaps I should apply for a position making up news at CNN or Time magazine.
Thanks for clearing that up.
RIP Mary Jo.
And we'd believe you over a respected Freeper why? His info didn't come from a website.
Their joke has no real bearing on what I posted, though some people tried to link the two items.
The joke, if true, would be corroboration for the assertion that the Kopchne and Bomgardner families had more than a passing relationship, i.e., they were "family friends."
If that fat sweathog had upset my wife to tears,I'd broke his jaw.[Or should I say "jowl"]
Wow...BTTT
