Sometimes self-deception, like a rubber band, can be stretched only so far before it breaks or snaps back to normal.

Women contemplating abortion should be forced to see the results of one first.

Bumping this.

I've always maintained that most of the pro-aborts "arguments" were actually marketing slogans, produced by MEN to protect MEN. Women were duped into thinking "choice" is the best for them.

Quick comment: The absence of good information regarding abortion and the pro-life movement was the FIRST thing that eventually caused me not to trust MSM and the Democrats. Thanksfully that was years ago now ;) !

I think Teddy Boy Kennedy says that if abortion had been legal, he wouldn't have had to drown that girl. It's all about making things convenient for men and many stupid women have fallen for it sadly.

Most people who consider themselves "pro-choice" are, by all appearances, reasonable and caring human beings. And yet they condone, and some even champion, the right to perpetrate the very acts of deception, betrayal, mutilation, torture and killing described in these pages. How can this be?

Because the prime directive of Western society is that you should be able to have sex with whomever you want, whenever you want, and without consequences.

Abortion is necessary to facilitate the prime directive, and until the prime directive changes, so will abortion.

No, not quite.

It's also about the right to have sex with a man who you would not allow to father your children, to quote the fabulous Ann Coulter, and women are every bit as responsible for the status quo as men, maybe more so, since every pregnancy begins by a woman exercising her right to choose.

"Our nation-wide policy of abortion on demand through all nine months of pregnancy was neither voted for by our people, nor enacted by our legislators--not a single state had such unrestricted abortion before the Supreme Court decreed it to be national policy in 1973. [It was] an act of raw judicial power"...

"We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life--the unborn--without diminishing the value of all human life."

"Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free land when some men could decide that others were not fit to be free and should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide. My Administration is dedicated to the preservation of America as a free land, and there is no cause more important for preserving that freedom than affirming the transcendent right to life of all human beings, the right without which no other rights have any meaning."

I think abortion is the most violent act devised by man-woman kind. Any products from abortion have their origin in the murder of innocent unborn.

I cant even find words to describe the people that make a living out this grisly act.

The Nazi comparison is apt for like Nazism was made from lie upon lie, so too the rational that makes abortion okay is built on lie upon lie. Just like the ideology's that give abortion any sort moral legitimacy, those too are built on lie upon lie. These things are evil.

There are two standard reactions in the recovery room, says Everett: The first is: "I've killed my baby." ... the second reaction is: "I am hungry.Excellent essay. Worth the read.

Great essay. Every woman who goes through an abortion learns too late that a baby is involved.
