"It's been so bred into everyone not to start an international incident with Mexico that it's been going on for years," Doyal told the Bulletin. "When you're up against mounted machine guns, what can you do?

Air strike?

I agree, however, it won't cost but a mere fraction what Congress spends each fiscal year on pork.

Have not done the calculations for I have not a good feel for labor rates in each affected state, nor the cost of re-inforced concrete, electronic survalance systems, lighting, utility power distribution, secondary walls to prevent most from getting at main wall, etc.. But from the waters of the gulf westward to the pacific is going to be one hell of a system. And it must be high enough, tough enough, under layed concrete deep enough not to burrow under, etc.. Easily twenty or more billion at todays costs. I'm not suggesting not to do it. I'm for it. But it has to be budgeted like anything else. And I bet it would take quite a few years to complete. Better late then never. Just a bit skeptical that anyone is serious enough to do the job right. The wall as to be tough enough to last many years, and high and wide enough to keep anyone from getting through, over, under. I bet it would require more concrete then all the damns built in the USA.

My point exactly; in either case, shoot 'em. I suppose some feeble argument could be made that they just happened to stop at a Mexican Army-Navy Surplus store just before illegally immigrating and bought some stuff. Well, if that were the case, once the first lot of them are shot dead, the law of supply and demand will kick in and the uniforms will be really cheap, but no more buyers will be found.

Read Jeff Head's Dragon's Fury Series. It is about "The Comiing World War III". He gives vivid possible realities about our relationship with Mexico if we have another World War!

"It's the federal governments job to enforce our laws on the border. They currently have the power, but refuse to use it. The politicians are afraid of what happened to California Gov. Wilson."

They talk tough of security, not afraid to stand up to the power and ruthless saddam osoma, insurgents, family values and quick to dissociate themselves from Trent Lot.

But when it comes to taking a stand against those voters who’s cousins have deserted their families to invade the US at the encouragement of such groups as the race - La Raza, they hide their heads under a their diplomats mother’s burka afraid of the boogy man who spooked Pete Wilson.

I shouldn't be, but I am shocked by the degree of corruption down there.

Yeah and the Mexicans aren't any better.

If the Governor of any state gets a report of foreign incursion they have not only the right but the sworn duty to do their utmost to thwart that threat. This includes using all enforcement means up to and including the state's National Guard, who's primary purpose is to defend their state from invasion.

If the Governor of a state fails in their responsibilities they should be removed from office in disgrace and the Lieutenant Governor should be installed in their place. Should that individual fail in their duty to repel invasion that state's highest ranking National Guard member should be granted leadership authority under the command of the state's legislative body.

Should that legislative body thwart that leader's mission to repel invasion it should be dissolved and replaced with actual citizens elected by their fellows through emergency elections held as quickly as possible.

Just some ideas...

Texas has caused a large part of the illegal alien problem in the rest of the country because of its policies. Sorry Texas but youve proved untrustworthy when it comes to illegals and border problems.

Simply unreal. We've been invaded by Mexico, and what is our response? Nothing! This is complete BS, and I would love to know why our president continues to suck up to that weasel, Fox???

On one side I am a fourth generation American. On the other my family tree goes back to 1642. My citizenship is not only a result of immigration followed by an accident of birth, but something I have earned by serving honorably in both the Navy and Army National Guard. My fiancée is a Filipina whose family lives in destitute poverty. I understand the desire to live in America. I also know the trials of acquiring a visa.

However, our government is treasonous in their disregrad for illegal immigration. As someone said earlier, it is an invasion. If we applied the same dilligence, capital, and manpower to securing our borders as we did towards the supposed Y2K problem, it would be a breeze. Manpower, equipment including military aircraft and satelites, and accountabilty.

Our biggest hinderance to this problem is Corporate America. our jobs have been sent south and overseas. Sam Walton's "Made in the USA" no longer exists, as do so many mom and pop businesses. If we sealed the border, then permanently revoked the business licenses of any individual or corporation found using any under the table labor, including illegal immigrants, and then gave an opportunity to the illegals to request permanent residence, with registration, we would solve many problems, renew American jobs, and eliminate much debt and security problems.

For those illegals who do not register, tattoo the universal "NO" symbol on the back of their hands and deport them for the first offense with a ban for life. Second offense, treat them as spies and enemies of the state as our constitution allows.

What a great post. Thank you for your service, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding : )

My dad's mom came from Ireland, and I still have her cedar trunk. Due to the huge age gaps, I'm second generation on his side(she would be 137 yrs old, dad would be 95). Due to the history of Catholic Ireland under the British, we've always been wary of things like borders. It is so upsetting to see that most of us know the importance of securing our national borders, especially in times like this, and yet the highest officials in this country don't seem to be taking it seriously. Folks like my grandma were sponsored and vetted for health. Not anymore : (

Corporate America is what robber barons were to previous centuries. They don't care about what they leave in their wake. They have exported jobs to foreign countries, deliberately use illegal labor to further cut their costs, and made a living wage in the construction industry a bloody joke.

It is treason. When our own government won't secure our borders, especially after 9/11, it is wanton disgregard towards our collective safety. I call BS!

I can't imagine why someone would put a scope on a .50 cal. automatic weapon. It's not exactly a "precision" weapon.

He didn't say "automatic", you did.

There are numerous semi-auto and single shot bolt actions that are "precision" weapons.

The glass on this one is about $1000.00.

You are welcome.

I have probably a thousand additional pictures without webpages to link them to so they can be displayed.

I have been over busy and under motivated to create the pages.

Glad you liked my little page.
