We are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast!
I would like to invite you to the 3rd Annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast (NCPB) in Washington, DC. The Mass is scheduled for Thursday evening, April 6, 2006 at St. Matthews Cathedral at 6:30 pm followed by a cocktail reception at the Army/Navy Club. The Breakfast will be Friday morning April 7 at 7:00 am, at the Hilton Washington Hotel in Washington, DC.
Last year we were blessed with a tremendous success, with over 700 people attending Mass, and over 1,600 people in attendance for the breakfast itself where we were honored to have President George W. Bush and Archbishop Charles Chaput attend and deliver stirring remarks. Based on growing interest, we are hopeful that our numbers will increase again this year.
Our principal celebrant and homilist will be His Eminence Theodore Cardinal McCarrick. The keynote speaker at the breakfast will be His Excellency Robert Morlino, Bishop of the Diocese of Madison. Another guest we are delighted will be in attendance is Archbishop Emeritus of Philadelphia, Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua who serves as the Ecclesiastical Advisor of the NCPB. A special addition to this year's program is a talk by Catholic Theologian Scott Hahn that will follow the breakfast. Other special guest speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Online registration will be available soon.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Joseph J. Cella
President
