Moscow Moved Weapons to Syria and Lebanon

According to a former top Bush administration official, Russian special forces teams moved weapons of mass destruction out of Iraq to Syria.

"I am absolutely sure that Russian Spetsnatz units moved WMD out of Iraq before the war," stated John Shaw, the former deputy undersecretary for international technology security. According to Shaw, Russian units hid Saddam's arsenal inside Syria and in Lebanon's Bekka valley.

"While in Iraq I uncovered detailed information that Spetsnatz units shredded records and moved all WMD and specified advanced munitions out of Iraq to Syria and Lebanon," stated Shaw during an exclusive interview.

"please, strategofr.....he is a shill for the murdering thug putin. it is fairly obvious. anyone who makes putin look bad, jb6 attacks with fury."

Just couldn't remember any of his previous posts, that's all I meant. Giving the benefit of the doubt, probably unnecessarily.

I see the Google Queen is flaunting the depth of her expertise again. Maybe you would like another run in with DevSix and Sarajevo.

Gotta agree with you on this one! I wouldn't feel comfortable declaring WMDs not being there. They're easy to conceal, move, and destroy (if you're not worried about safety). I actually wish the were correct by saying Iraq didn't have them - that way we don't have to worry about them popping up again in terrorists'

Why can't we alienate or destabilize Russia? They've continued to crap on the U.S. all along and tried to bully their neighbors, so why can't we?

Do I really need to answer this question?

What that part of the world needs is more stability, not less. Oh yeah, and there is the matter of several thousand nuclear weapons stored in Russia.

It is also possible that Syria offered to buy the stuff from the Russian/Iraqi coalition. There is precious little Russia would not do for cold hard cash.

"I see the Google Queen is flaunting the depth of her expertise again"

ahh yes, the other KGB propagandist Garyspfc....a defender of a kgb thug responsible for the deaths of US troops in Iraq.

gary, you are too ignorant to refute anything contained in the articles i presented, that is why you must attack and attempt to discredit. remember, your and your family's self admitted connection to putin:

I told you long ago Putin is a Christian. Indeed, he had my wife and a couple of others write a Bible curriculum for the schools, which he had drawn into a bill and signed into law.

Stellar, I made it perfectly clear that was not a direct family connection. Putin simply authorized a Bible curcullium for the schools, and had a group write the program, and said group included my wife. You neglected to add that little tidbit.

And on Iraqi Shias in the South, "Marsh Arabs."

Thanks, I had forgotten about his "Eradication Program" for that group... (along with their environment!!!).

These reports would be wonderful if true.

No, they wouldn't. I'd rather the Bush administration was 100% wrong on WMDs than have them floating around, unsecured, in a terrorist paradise like the Bekaa Valley. It's a case of vindication not being worth the potential price, if one of these relocated weapons end up in the hands of, say, Hisbollah or Hamas.

Unfortunately, I tend to believe them.

Why can't we alienate or destabilize Russia?

Because a destabilized Russia is an unstable, and therefore unpredictable, nuclear power. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

We will go out of our way not to alienate Russia or China. If this involves Bush losing ratings in the polls about WMD, they will do it, because the Business would would scream if our relations with those two countries would be hurt.

Typically, when a large weapons deal is made, they also send troops to train the military of the recieving country in how to use the weapons. Also, the Venezuelans have training from US special forces, and the Russians are intrested in this, just like the Chinese are.

Ion Pacepa is one of the best sources of truth about Soviet evil that we have.

He should be, he was one of the main enforcers in a regime that made Saddam look like a light weight.
