You belong in prison!
Well, I have 1500 watts of pure power in my camaro.
During Cindy Sheehan's latest trip to Crawford with her unwashed heathen followers, I cranked up the Star Spangled Banner, God Bless the USA, The Marine Corps Anthem and drove back and forth past her "Squat" Drove the commies crazy and got plenty of "Old" and Young Soldiers on their feet.
So the Force can be used for good

Just make it legal for me to get out of my car, and beat the crap out of the guy in the boom-boom car.
LOL, what happened to the first 19 dropandgimme's? I am the 6 generation Toby, btw.
Hopefully your car be siezed and crushed!!!!!!!!
I hate music, never have owned a record, tape, or CD, don't have a radio in my truck, wouldn't allow a company truck to ever have a radio, and radios on the job were cause to be fired!
And he'll probably plant a dimebag of heroin in my backseat while he's at it.
While they are at it, they should ban those spinning hub caps too. They give the impression of a car moving while still. Dangerous!
1976 Ford F-250, with rifle rack,$10,000.00 worth of speakers, "The Ride of the Valkyries" playing, and a case of Shiner beer.
The day is coming when they seize your car for having "offensive" or "insensitive" bumper stickers.
It's also anti red neck.
The cheering of government confiscation of property without recompense doesn't seem very conservative to me. Ok, how about Harleys? Those loud buggers wake me up regularly. I suppose, to be fair, they should be confiscated as well.
You shouldn't be blasting any music period. If someone can hear your music outside of your car, then it is too loud!
I've been at stop lights next to cars, and my kids in my car have had to put their hands over their ears to stop the noise.
The full story uses the term impounded. I believe that is accurate. If an auto was seized you would not be able to pay a fine and retrieve it. The vehicle would be sold at auction or put into use by the city without any regard for prior ownership.
IMHO, this is not aimed at tax paying citizens, but gangbangers who bring down the quality of life with their "thumpin sounds".
I have to disagree with passing something like this, just on principle. That being said, I'd still like the opportunity to take a Louisville Slugger to these little punks driving down my street at 2AM waking the freaking dead. Man I despise those kids, their golf-cart cars, and their coffee-can lawnmower-wannabe mufflers.
No, impounded means you pay a healthy "impound fee" plus any fine, then go about your business.
