No Filibuster, No Re-Election for Blue State Senators

I'll keep this short and bitter. Every god damned blue state senator who failed to sign on to the Alito filibuster MUST be fought in the primaries and replaced. The Democratic party has failed the rank and file members.
It is time to take back the Democratic party from the right wing, loser hacks who have been fumblingly, failingly controlling it and the candidates put forward. I can't believe how many people tell me that they believe the DLC and right wing democrats are really Republican operators.
IN the OpEdNews.com/Zogby people's poll I just ran in Pennsylvania, about 29% of the respondents were liberals or progressives. With 51 percent of the respondents being democrats, that means that 58% of the democrats are liberal or Progressive. We ARE the majority.
If a stab-us-in-the-back senator in a blue state failed to suppor the filibuster we MUST find strong, tough candidates to run against and BEAT them. We must raise money for candidates, even if they are not running in our states.
We, the Progressives and liberals must define the issues. We must tell our elected officials what to do. This was the last straw. We need to draw up a list of these traitors to democracy and take them out of the political arena. I bet they'll end up on some corporation's payroll.
We need leaders who will go to congress and not be cowed by the seniority system. They represent constitituents who are just as important as the senior members. So F**K the seniority system. F**k Barack Obama for selling out the people who put their trust in him.
Here's the list of the "Democratic" senators who betrayed us.
Akaka (HI), Baucus (MT), Bingaman (NM), Byrd (WV), Cantwell (WA), Carper (DE), Dorgan (ND), Inouye (HI), Johnson (SD), Kohl (WI), Landrieu (LA), Lieberman (CT), Lincoln (AR), Nelson (FL), Nelson (NE), Pryor (AR), Rockefeller (WV), Salazar (CO)
Ad Bob Fertik, of Democrats.com, said, "There was no reason for this betrayal. We only needed 40 of the 45 Democrats to sustain a filibuster."
Some of them hail from solid Red states. We can't blame them. But the ones from blue states and purple states should be treated like wanted criminals and removed from their positions of trust and power. It's not having people who call themselves democrats when they fail us when it matters most. These lowly cowards should have treated this fight like a war and supported the filibuster even if it meant taking an election bullet. I believe the action would have gained them votes. It would have forced Bush to submit a candidate who would actually be good for the US, unlike the unworthy liar he's appointed.
I would say that we are now in a state of war, but the right wing has been at war with the american people for a long time. Today, we learned of the traitors in our midst. We know what to do with traitors. And we need to act fast.

I guess some of them are finally starting to get it. If the situations were reversed, not one of us would tolerate a republican senator who "voted for a guy we hated before they voted against them". Of course, that's why the Dems lose. They mostly elect politicians instead of patriots, so when push comes to shove, about half of them can be expected to cave on a given issue because they are more afraid of us than they are of the people who got them elected. I'd have been more impressed with Kerry and Kennedy if they hadn't waited until they knew they didn't have the votes to launch the filibuster.

It's about time the REAL Democrats showed some spine, and started confronting the GOP extreme-Hitlerite-wacko-right-wing-Christian-Coalition minority controlling the country. If more Democrats were as honest as this guy, and just went after the traitors in their midst ....
... then the GOP would own 2/3's of BOTH the Senate and House seats, and we wouldn't see another Democrat in the White House in my lifetime.
By ALL MEANS, DEMOCRATS, PLEASE FILIBUSTER! When the GOP changes Senate rules to conform with the Constitution, there'll be no filibuster next year when Bush nominates a Bork-Republican to fill the next empty USSC seat.
Is there a place we can sent money to help out these poor, discouraged, empty-headed Democrats?

HA HA HA HA..... go ahead and whine, you weasels! The Demagogic Party is not worth a bucket of warm spit, and if you want to go ahead and tear it apart some more you will just provide entertainment for the rest of us. You ranting Demagogues have viciously trashed the sterling character and career of (very soon to be) JUSTICE Samuel Alito, yet you go into meltdown mode because some of your Senators have just enough sense not to try to blow up the Senate and wreck whatever remains of its traditions in a LOSING cause. You are all Sore-Losercrats!!

If the "progressives" would get half as mad at our real enemies like bin Laden and Zarqawi as they do at their own politicians like Nelson or Lieberman, the war on terror would be won a lot quicker.
But that would be expecting them to act sane once in awhile.

Well, let's see here, Mr Kall - you say Dems in blue states who voted for cloture should be thrown out but Dems in red states get a pass.
Why? If this is SUCH a big deal wouldn't you need their votes, too?
Or have you just admitted you have no principals except for obtaining and keeping power over the rest of us?
You remember us, right? The MAJORITY.

Well, 29% of 51% is equal to 57%, which is close enough for an idiot Democrat. But he's assuming that all 29% who described themselves as "liberal" or "progressive" also described themselves as "Democrats" (as opposed to "independents" or even "Republicans"; think Arlen Specter). If only 4% of those polled described themselves as "liberal" or "progressive" but not as "Democrat," then less than half of Pennsylvania's Democrats describe themselves as "liberal" or "progressive."
Besides, does this moron really think that *everyone* who describes himself as "liberal" or "progressive" is a Daily Kos-type troglodite? Someone who believes in raising the minimum wage and cleaning up government may describe himself as "liberal" or "progressive," yet he may be pro-life and pro-gun and, more to the point, he may not be a whack job like those who insisted upon denying a qualified Supreme Court nominee an up-or-down vote.
And this whole thing is based on the results of a Zogby poll? Wow.
"Ad Bob Fertik, of Democrats.com, said, "There was no reason for this betrayal. We only needed 40 of the 45 Democrats to sustain a filibuster.""
I just wish that the Democrats had convinced 40 members to vote against cloture, just to see those DUmmies and Kossites celebrate, only to realize that it takes 60 votes for cloture, and 100-40=60, so they actually needed 41 votes for cloture. Dumbasses.
In truth, what I would have preferred is if 15 Republican Senators stayed in their offices when the cloture vote began, to see if the Democrats would vote for cloture when they might be the 60th vote. If at the end it appeared that the GOP was 3 votes shy of cloture, 3 Republican Senators would waltz in and cast votes for cloture to put it at 60-25-15. That would *really* give ammunition to the RAT crazies, since they would be campaigning against Lieberman, Bill Nelson, etc. saying "had he voted against cloture on Alito the motion would have failed and Alito would have been filibustered."
