The apple of John Gotti's eye is rotten to the core, said a Brooklyn judge .......Richard Martino, 46, duped (victims) into doling out millions of dollars to smutty Internet and phone scams. The Gambino soldier pleaded guilty to racketeering and mail and wire fraud for bilking $650 million from porn perusers....admitted to luring visitors onto porn Web sites by promising the steamed-up surfers "free tours."
Internet users would then be billed up to $90 when they gave their credit-card number.
Countless other victims responded to raunchy magazine ads offering free phone sex, but their numbers would be billed $30 a month. Despite the astronomical amount Martino scammed, Komitee noted that only $17 million in claims have been filed with the FTC.......the embarrassment factor of having to admit checking out porn Web sites has kept many people from coming forward.
John Gotti spoke glowingly about Martino's earning potential in a 1990 conversation the feds caught on tape.

ROTFLMAO!! I think Martino should get a medal, not jail time, for what he did to the pervs, a beautiful form of chickens coming home to roost and s**t on deserving shoulders. Sometines the Mafia actually does a public service.

Absolutely, people that look at porn, certainly do deserve to have their money stolen.They deserve worse than that, it's too bad a big goombah couldn't visit their homes and break their thumbs to help them cure their onanism habits.
