Good on them.
But they better watch their necks.
Has anyone found a copy of the cartoon in question?
Hey, the French!
Let the car burnings begin...
Doubt if any US newspaper will follow suit.
They've been posted several times on various earlier threads.

It won't be long before steel collars are all the rage in Europe. An unarmed society is soon to be a headless society. Thank God for the Second Amendment.
Every newspaper in the world should publish these
(just as authors went around wearing T-shirts that said, 'I am Rushdie' when that author was condemned to death in a fatwa).
But the newspapers will probably only be interested if there is an angle by which they can bash Bush.

Alouette posted them - I don't remember the thread. Perhaps she can ping you to it.
Michelle Malkin had them all posted just this week.
Vive le France!
Please ping me if you access the cartoons.
Wonderful and amazing. France is growing a pair.
Any newspaper that prints a story about that cartoon without showing the cartoon isn't worthy of publication.
Finally the silly frogs got one right.
Newsflash: sales of marshmallows, weenies and popcorn suddenly rise in France.......
Fire brigades on full alert.....
Chirac acting tough and threatenng nuclear weapons and now public taunting of the Muslim lunatics ...sacre bleu the French are growing spines.
